The KHL has suspended Evgeny Artyukhin for three games for elbowing Niklas Persson in the head last Wednesday in a 3-2 shootout loss to Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk. Artyukhin hasn't played in the NHL since he split the 2009-10 campaign between Anaheim and Atlanta. In eight games with SKA St. Petersburg this season, the big winger has no points and a whopping 60 penalty minutes.
