Tage Thompson scored another power-play goal from the slot at 9:11 of the second period and Jeff Skinner wired a shot from the slot at 4:09 of the third that got past Kallgren. Rasmus Dahlin poured fuel on the fire just 1:34 later with a nice shot from just above the bottom of the right circle.

Kallgren will take Tuesday's game in order to give starter Jack Campbell some extra rest. In his nine outings, the 25-year-old netminder is 5-2-1 with a 2.78 GAA and one shutout. With an upcoming back-to-back as well, Kallgren will likely be in the crease versus the Senators or Islanders on Saturday or Sunday, respectively.
