Larkin was absent from Friday's practice session due to an illness, Ansar Khan of MLive.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Larkin was able to power through his illness to suit up in Thursday's matchup with Winnipeg, so he's unlikely to sit out against Montreal on Saturday. The elite center has tallied two goals and two helpers in his last five games, all of which have been scored with the man advantage. While a lack of 5-on-5 production may be a concern to the coaching staff, fantasy owners certainly won't be disappointed.

Larkin (illness) is out there for warmups and is expected to play in Thursday's game against Winnipeg, Dana Wakiji of the Red Wings' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Larkin came into the game as a game-time decision but participated in pregame line rushes and looks ready to play. He's racked up two goals and four points in his past four games, so he'll hope to ride that hot streak as the team's top line center for the game.

Larkin is considered a question mark for Thursday's game against the Jets due to an illness, Ted Kulfan of The Detroit News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Larkin is coming off of a stretch of four points in the last four games, so it would be an inopportune time for him to miss out on some action. Even if he does sit out Thursday, Larkin's absence would presumably not last long beyond that. With Andreas Athanasiou (undisclosed) already ruled out, the Red Wings may be forced to go with 11 forwards and seven defensemen if Larkin can't suit up.

Larkin scored a goal and an assist, both on the power play, in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Penguins.
EDGE Analysis
He's riding a three-game, four-point streak (two goals, two assists). But for all his talent, Larkin sits just third in team scoring with 20 (eight goals, 12 helpers) in 31 games. And his plus-minus (just like pretty much every Wing) will continue to act like an anchor on your squad.

Larkin scored a power-play goal on a team-high five shots in Monday's 4-1 loss to the Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
Larkin was the only Red Wing who was able to sneak a puck behind Semyon Varlamov. Larkin has scored only seven times this season, but he still has 18 points in 30 games. He's not likely to match his career-best 73-point campaign from last season, but Larkin should still end up around 55 to 60 points if he stays healthy.

Larkin recorded an assist and three shots on goal in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Larkin had an assist on the second of Tyler Bertuzzi's two goals in Thursday's game. The center has produced two goals and a pair of assists during a four-game point streak. Larkin is up to 16 points and 65 shots through 21 outings this year.

Larkin scored a power-play goal on three shots in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Ducks.
EDGE Analysis
Larkin tied the game with just 37 seconds left in overtime, knocking home a loose puck at the side of the net with Detroit goalie Jonathan Bernier on the bench for an extra skater. It was Larkin's sixth goal of the goal season and pushed his point total to 15 after 20 games. He's just slightly off of his 32-goal pace from a season ago, but should still land somewhere between 25 and 30 when all is said and done.

Larkin scored a goal on three shots and had two PIM in Friday's 4-2 win over the Bruins.
EDGE Analysis
Larkin scored a beauty of a goal early in the first period, going coast to coast up the left side before beating Tuukka Rask on a wraparound. The 23-year-old, who topped all Detroit forwards with 21:40 of ice time, has five goals and 13 points in 17 games this season.

Larkin had a team-high seven shots on net Tuesday, scoring a power-play goal in a 3-1 win over the Oilers.
EDGE Analysis
Believe it or not, the goal was Larkin's first power-play point of the season. Detroit's top center has 10 points in 13 games, with Larkin scoring for a second straight game after going five straight contests without a goal. His 21:10 of ice time was more than any Red Wings forward.

Larkin scored a goal and an assist in Sunday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Blues.
EDGE Analysis
He and Tyler Bertuzzi led the Wings in a late comeback attempt, with Larkin's tally early in the third period spurring a three-goal rally from a 3-1 deficit, but Jonathan Bernier quickly coughed the lead back up. Larkin's performance snapped a five-game point drought, but the 23-year-old still has a solid three goals and nine points through 12 games.
