Dustin Brown got a goal in the Kings' 4-3 shootout loss to the Wild on Saturday night.
With 14 goals and 22 points this year, Brown has been a bit of a disappointment, especially after he thoroughly dominated in last year's playoffs (20 points in 20 games). Justin Williams and Jeff Carter were the other goal scorers.

Brown hasn't exactly set the world on fire this season, but he's picking up his pace lately and the playing alongside Anze Kopitar certainly can't hurt. Trevor Lewis, Justin Williams and Mike Richards all scored goals for the Kings in the victory.

Dustin Brown extended his goal streak to three games in a losing effort, as the Kings fell to the Coyotes 5-2 on Tuesday.
Brown's marker is his ninth of the season, in what has been lackluster offensive start for the 2012 playoff star. Like the rest of the Kings, he just hasn't found a rhythm so far, with just 15 points in 25 games. His recent play, however, provides some optimism for owners. Mike Richards also tallied his seventh of the season in the loss.

Dustin Brown scored his seventh and eighth goals of the season in the LA Kings 3-1 win over the Calgary Flames.
At the end of February it looked like Brown had finally found his touch again but then he went on another long slump. Now Brown has four points in his last four games and hopefully his production will be more consistent in the second half of the seaosn. The Kings need their captain to play better and with the supporting cast he has, his numbers should most certainly take a turn for the better. He gives you hits and PIM's too so he's a useful depth winger in all formats.

Many Los Angeles Kings were frustrated by Jimmy Howard on Sunday, yet Dustin Brown and Justin Williams might rank the highest.
Both forwards fired seven shots on goal but had nothing to show for it. They also compiled two PIM a piece, so they at least helped you in the peripheral categories. Anze Kopitar and Alec Martinez were the Kings' goal scorers in a 3-2 loss to Detroit.
