Doughty's 28 assists, should the remainder of the regular season get canceled, would be his lowest since 2014, the last time he didn't play 82 games worth of hockey.

EDGE Analysis

Thirty-five points in 67 games is nothing to sneeze at for a defenseman; it's just not what we're used to seeing from Doughty. He's still a strong player, but it might be wise to temper expectations for him for a season or two, because the Kings don't have many options for him to set up.

Doughty posted an assist, four shots on goal and four PIM in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Senators.

EDGE Analysis

Doughty has helpers in three straight games, and five assists in his last five outings. He's at 35 points, 141 shots, 106 hits and 36 PIM through 67 contests overall. It's likely to end as a down year offensively for Doughty, but his all-around production is serviceable to fantasy owners.

Doughty posted an assist, two shots on goal and three hits in Monday's 3-1 win over the Avalanche.

EDGE Analysis

Doughty has picked up four assists and a plus-6 rating in the last four games. The defenseman now has 34 points, 137 shots, 106 hits and 86 blocked shots in 66 contests this season. Doughty remains a solid producer across virtually all categories.

Doughty registered two power-play assists, two shots on goal, four PIM and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Golden Knights.

EDGE Analysis

Doughty's offense has come in bursts lately -- he's only been on the scoresheet twice in the last 10 games, and both times were two-point efforts. The 30-year-old blueliner has 32 points (14 on the power play), 130 shots, 101 hits and 83 blocked shots through 63 contests.

Doughty scored a power-play goal and added an assist, four PIM and three shots in Thursday's 5-4 win over the Panthers.

EDGE Analysis

Doughty has struggled in February -- he had just one assist in the previous seven games. He reached the 30-point mark with Thursday's two-point burst, doing so in 58 appearances this year. He's added 122 shots, 97 hits, 80 blocked shots and 26 PIM this year. Doughty is on pace for his worst offensive year since 2013-14, when he had 37 points in 78 outings.

Doughty (undisclosed) is in line to return to action Tuesday versus the Capitals, Jon Rosen of Fox Sports West reports.

EDGE Analysis

Doughty will ultimately miss just three games and will aim to return with a vengeance after collecting just one point (an assist) over his last eight games played. He still averaged 26:19 of ice time and recorded 18 shots on goal over that span, keeping the veteran a viable fantasy lineup option in most formats.

Doughty (undisclosed) won't play in Saturday's game versus the Ducks, Helene Elliott of the Los Angeles Times reports.

EDGE Analysis

Doughty returned to practice Saturday but hasn't made the necessary strides to suit up against the cross-town rival. The 30-year-old previously hadn't missed a game since the 2013-14 season, and now he'll miss his third straight contest. Joakim Ryan has been playing on the top pairing in Doughty's place.

Doughty (undisclosed) isn't expected to play Thursday against Arizona, NHL.com's Alan Robinson reports.

EDGE Analysis

Although Doughty will miss a second straight game Thursday, the good news is he's considered day-to-day with his undisclosed injury, which suggests he could be ready to return as soon as Saturday against Anaheim. Joakim Ryan will continue to skate on the Kings' top pairing until Doughty's cleared to rejoin the lineup.

Doughty (undisclosed) is expected to miss Wednesday's clash with Tampa Bay, per Jon Rosen of Fox Sports West.

EDGE Analysis

Doughty will miss his first game of the year due to his undisclosed injury. Prior to getting hurt, the blueliner recorded just one point in his last eight appearances, despite averaging 2:17 of power-play ice time over that stretch. Fortunately for the Kings, Joakim Ryan (undisclosed) is cleared to play, which will prevent them from having to call a player up from the minors.

General manager Rob Blake said Doughty missed Monday's practice because he's "not healthy enough" to be on the ice, Lisa Dillman of The Athletic reports.

EDGE Analysis

The Kings haven't played since Jan. 18, so it's concerning that Doughty's hurting following the break. The veteran blueliner hasn't missed a game since the 2013-14 season, so his iron-man streak is in jeopardy if he isn't healed up by Wednesday's matchup versus the Lightning. Derek Forbort (undisclosed) also missed practice, so the Kings will need to call up reinforcements if neither can play.
