Hamilton picked up two assists in Wednesday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Oilers. The third-year rearguard has been on a nice little tear over the last week or so, recording five points in the last five games. With 31 points in 57 games -- and 147 shots on goal -- the 21-year-old Hamilton has been a nice source of offense from the back end this season, and should only continue to get better as he matures.

Hamilton picked up an assist and attempted four shots in Sunday's loss to the Canadiens.
Though he's noticed a steep dropoff from his plus-22 rating of a year ago, Hamilton has already established a career best with 28 points this season. His uptick in offense has helped offset the decline of Zdeno Chara, but he's seen his production slow a bit of late, particularly as a goal scorer. He's found the net just once since late December.

Hamilton scored a power-play goal and assisted on the game-winner Tuesday against Dallas. He finished plus-2 with four shots on goal and a pair of PIM.
It's Hamilton's first goal since he potted two back on Dec. 21, and he'd collected just four assists in the 12-game interim. So it's nice to see Hamilton back on the horse with those two points, pushing his season total to 26, a new career high.

Hamilton failed to produce a point Saturday, but did tie a career high with six shots on goal over his 19:41 of ice time.
Interesting enough, Hamilton has fired off six shots in four of his last six games. However, aside from a three-point outburst against the Sabres, he's failed to find the net in the other three contests. Despite the lack of production during that span, it nonetheless represents an encouraging trend for the 21-year-old. Stay patient with Hamilton; a breakout could be imminent.

After going pointless in four games, Hamilton has turned it up recently, recording three points (one goal) and a plus-4 rating in his last two games. With 14 points in 24 games on the season, Hamilton is well on his way to a career year in Beantown. The 21-year-old could reach 50 points in just his third NHL season. What a stud.

Hamilton was held out of practice Wednesday due to the flu, Amalie Benjamin of the Boston Globe reports.
Hamilton's status for Friday's game against the Blue Jackets may come in doubt if he doesn't improve over the next couple of days. The Bruins' defensemen have been bit by the injury bug this season, and could ill-afford to lose another for an extended period of time. If Hamilton can't go Friday, the team would likely need to make a move to add a sixth blueliner to the roster.

Hamilton opened the scoring Thursday against Montreal with a power-play goal late in the first period, but it turned out to be Boston's only offense in a 5-1 loss. He finished minus-3 with two PIM.
That big minus is quite startling to see from Hamilton -- or any Bruin -- but the B's don't get blown out too often. Nonetheless, Hamilton continues to deliver highly fantasy-relevant stats from the blue line.
