Dmitry Kulikov hasn't resumed skating yet, as he recovers from knee surgery. He was projected to miss six to eight weeks after undergoing the procedure in late January. Kulikov was seen walking around the Panthers facility on Tuesday without the aid of crutches.

Dimitry Kulikov registered three points in Florida's 5-4 win over the Washington Capitals Monday night. The Panthers made it 3-0 on Kulikov's power-play goal late in the first period and were able to hold off the Caps to win an important division game. The Panthers now have a very surprising seven-point lead over Washington in the Southeast Division. Needless to say Kulikov should be owned in all leagues.

The team's trainers want to monitor his condition to protect him from a possible infection, but he was able to ride a stationary bicycle on Wednesday afternoon. "It was scary when I saw all the blood when I got in the locker room," Kulikov said. "Sure, I want to play every game, but we'll see." Stay tuned.

Dmitri Kulikov sustained a deep cut on his leg just above his boot late in the second period of Tuesday's win over Carolina and wasn't able to return to the game. Coach Kevin Dineen said that the Florida defender will be evaluated in Los Angeles on Wednesday. Kulikov has been held pointless in his past three games, but he is enjoying a strong season with 14 assists and 15 points in 23 total contests.
