Everberg was placed on unconditional waivers by the Jets on Tuesday in order to terminate his contract.
EDGE Analysis
Everberg played 11 games for AHL Manitoba this season after signing a two-way deal with the club this summer, but managed a lone assist. The 26-year-old will almost certainly return to Europe where he spent the past two years. This likely marks the end of the winger's NHL career.

Everberg landed on the waiver wire Friday in order to ship him down to the minors, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Everberg signed with the Jets this summer after spending the last two years playing overseas. The winger is on his second stint in North America and will have to prove himself in the minors if he wants another look in the NHL this season.

Everberg signed a one-year, two-way deal with the Jets on Sunday, Brian Munz of TSN 1290 Winnipeg reports.
EDGE Analysis
Everberg spent last season in the KHL, posting 11 goals and 16 points in 50 games. That production isn't anything to call home about, but Everberg's 6-foot-4, 205-pound stature molds him into a power forward. Expect the 26-year-old to try proving himself in AHL Manitoba.

Everberg agreed to a two-year contract with the Vaxjo Lakers of the Swedish Hockey League on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
The 24-year-old forward had a scoreless 2015-16 campaign with the Avs, skating in 15 games. That being said, Everberg was productive in the AHL with the San Antonio Rampage, tallying 40 points in 54 games. The player's two seasons in North America didn't go as planned and it remains to be seen whether Everberg will return to play in North America again.

Everberg was placed on waivers Thursday, CSN's Elliotte Friedman reports.
EDGE Analysis
He had been seeing less than 10 minutes of ice time for the Avalanche recently, and could report to the team's minor league affiliate.

Everberg will skate on the first line for Tuesday's game in Florida, The Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Everberg will be skating at the left wing position on the top line with Matt Duchene and Jarome Iginla for Tuesday night's tilt against Florida. The forward got 11:33 of ice time in his first game of the season against Columbus on Saturday while skating on the third line. With Duchene having a slow start to the season, Coach Patrick Roy hopes placing Everberg on the top line can create a spark for the center against a surprisingly strong Florida team. While this may not be a long-term move, it does allow Everberg to be a cheap play in daily fantasy lineups.

Everberg was recalled by the Avalanche on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Everberg missed the earliest portion of the season due to a shoulder surgery that sidelined him for six months. Since returning, the 23-year-old has lit it up with AHL San Antonio over the first three games, collecting five point (three goals, two assists). With just 12 forwards on the current roster, he'll likely draw into the lineup Thursday.

Everberg returned to practice Monday, Marc Moser of the Altitude Radio Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Everberg was given a six-to-eight month recovery timetable after undergoing shoulder surgery in April, so it appears he's right on his schedule in his rehab. He'll need to log a number of full team practices to get back into shape before entering Colorado's lineup, so his return to game action is likely still a few weeks away. Regardless, it's definitely encouraging to see the 23-year-old winger back on the ice in some capacity.

The Avalanche announced Thursday that Everberg would undergo shoulder surgery and require 6-to-8 months of recovery time, Terry Frei of the Denver Post reports. The lengthy timetable will put Everberg's status for training camp in serious peril and potentially force him to open the 2015-16 campaign on the Avs' long-term injured reserve list. The Swedish winger had previously separated his shoulder in November, missing just over three weeks of action as a result. Everberg finished his rookie season with three goals and 12 points across 55 games.
