Wolf was sent back down to AHL Adirondack on Sunday, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 reports.
Wolf is having a solid season in the AHL, with 36 points and 150-plus penalty minutes. He may get a look in training camp, but it's going to be tough to crack a young Flames' squad with a decent amount of cap money.

Wolf was recalled from AHL Adirondack on Friday, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Wolf is one of four call-ups the Flames made ahead of their regular-season finale Saturday against the Jets. With the Flames' playoff spot secure following Thursday's win over the Kings, the team could reward Wolf with an appearance Saturday, but he's not expected to contribute during the postseason.

Wolf (leg) has been activated off the injured reserve list for Monday's game against the Sharks.Wolf was placed on the IR one week ago with a leg injury but has returned to practice and is apparently ready to get back on the game ice. However, the 25-year-old only has one appearance on the ice this season and will likely struggle to make his presence felt against the Sharks.

Wolf (lower body) was on the ice for practice with the team Sunday, Randy Sportak of the Calgary Sun reports.
Wolf was wearing a different colored jersey than the others, but the fact that he is skating doesn't necessarily rule him out for Monday's contest. However, the team has now regained it's full strength among the forwards, so it's also possible he will be sent back to AHL Adirondack when he is activated.

Wolf left Saturday's win over the Oilers in the third period due to a lower-body injury and didn't return, the Associated Press reports.
Wolf entered the lineup for his NHL debut after Jiri Hulder (illness) was ruled out from playing. He logged two hits and one shot on goal over his 7:27 of ice time, but the injury could be something that prevents him from seeing additional action with the Flames in the near future.

The Flames have recalled Wolf from AHL Adirondack, the team's official site reports.
The 6-2, 216-pounder has recorded 21 points and 68 PIM in 35 games for Adirondack to date. The 25-year-old has yet to suit up for an NHL regular season game to date, but he's up now to bolster the Flames' forward depth, along with fellow recall Sven Baertschi.
