Carr (knee) will return to the lineup Saturday against Florida, the Montreal Gazette reports.

Carr, who suffered his knee injury Jan. 25, skated on the fourth line with Mike McCarron and Phillip Danault during Friday's practice. He showed a bit of a scoring touch, potting five goals in 19 games, after getting the call from St. John's earlier this season.

Carr (knee) was a full participant at Monday's practice, but was wearing a non-contact jersey, the Montreal Gazette reports. The rookie forward, who has missed 27 games, is looking to get into one of the remaining six games.

The undrafted free agent had five goals and three assists while averaging 11:50 of ice time in 19 games. He'll be one of several young forwards looking to make the team when training camp kicks off for the 2016-17 season.

Carr will miss the next three months with a right knee injury, Dave Stubbs of NHL.com reports.
