Craig Conroy will handle the headsets in the press box for the Flames. Conroy is currently the special assistant to GM Jay Feaster but this move will be more like an assistant coach as head coach Bob Hartley thinks Conroy knows a lot about this group of players since he was in the dressing room as a player a couple of seasons ago. "I'll be wearing the headset up above during the games, talking to Gelly (assistant coach Martin Gelinas), telling them anything I can see.," Conroy said. " Bob felt like I know these players probably better than any of the staff there right now, so to have me around helps, especially because it's a sprint. (GM) Jay (Feaster) told Bob, 'whatever you need.' So this is what he asked for."
