Craig Anderson turned in a 34 save shutout Tuesday night as the Senators handled the Capitals 2-0 Tuesday night.
Anderson was coming off a tough two game losing streak where he allowed nine goals. The 32 year-old still needs some more games like this one to re-establish himself as an elite fantasy netminder. He is 16-10-6 this season with a .905 save percentage and 3.09 goals against average.

Craig Anderson will get the nod for Ottawa on Tuesday at Washington.
He hasn't looked good in his last two outings, while allowing nine goals on 54 shots, and his play has been erratic at best this season. Anderson does own a 10-5-1 record versus the Capitals, though.

P.K. Subban's celebration left a sour taste in the Senators' mouths Thursday night, Ottawa goalie Craig Anderson has acknowledged.
Less than 24 hours after the Montreal Canadiens defenseman scored his OT winner at the Canadian Tire Centre Thursday, the Senators weren't exactly sure what Subban was so excited about. Subban helped give the club a 5-4 victory by beating Anderson, but some in the Ottawa room were less than thrilled with Subban leaping and skating to center ice pulling on the crest. Asked if what Subban did was "unnecessary" Anderson didn't disagree. "The key word there is unnecessary," Anderson said. "You didn't see us, when (Clarke MacArthur) scored our overtime goal (on Jan. 4 in Montreal), throwing our jersey up in the air like that. It's one of those things where, that's his character, that's the way he is, we all know that. It should make us all angry here that we don't want that to happen again so we've got to win the games."

Craig Anderson wasn't at his best Thursday as the Senators fell to Montreal in overtime by a score of 5-4.
P.K. Subban's tally 23 seconds into the extra frame was the fifth goal allowed by Anderson in the contest on just 23 shots. The miserable effort drops his record to 15-9-6 and adjusts his GAA to 3.16 and his save percentage to .903.

Robin Lehner pitched a 27-save shutout against Minnesota on Tuesday, but the Senators will turn back to Anderson for Thursday's match-up versus Montreal. Adjust your lineup accordingly.

Craig Anderson sticked away 32 shots in Ottawa's 2-1 shootout win against the Predators on Saturday night.
You have to go back to Dec. 19, a span of nine games, for Anderson's last loss, but that doesn't mean he's been all that much better, tonight notwithstanding. The Senators have started to score more and they are benefitting greatly. Anderson still has just a 3.10 goals-against average and .905 save percentage this season. He remains a risky number-two in fantasy leagues.

Craig Anderson will start in goal Saturday night against the Predators.
He is coming off a 4-3 overtime loss to the Avalanche Wednedsay night. Anderson has started the Sens' last six games and seems to be entrenched as the team's starter. At least for now.
