Corey Potter made his Boston debut in Tuesday's win over New Jersey. He was claimed off waivers from Edmonton earlier this month and got to play in his first game since Jan. 27. Potter had one shot and a plus-1 rating in 15:09 of ice time. "I was a little rusty at the start," he said. "But the systems here make it very easy for us on the back end. All and all, for not playing in a while, I think it went pretty well for me." He replaced Matt Bartkowski in the lineup.

Don't look for Corey Potter on the Boston blueline Saturday night against Tampa. The defenseman, who was claimed from Edmonton off waivers on Wednesday, will likely be a healthy scratch for a second consecutive contest as he acclimates himself to his new team.
