Corey Crawford was good once again in Game 3, stopping 25 of 27 shots in Chicago's Game 3 loss to Los Angeles on Tuesday night.
Crawford kept the Blackhawks in the game for large portions of the game, despite receiving little help in front of him. Unfortunately, Chicago was unable to muster much offensively, and dropped the opportunity to take a commanding 3-0 series lead. Nonetheless, the Kings' offense hasn't been able to really solve Crawford, whose postseason SV% is hovering around an impressive .940. He's proved to be a strength for the Blackhawks.

Corey Crawford turned away 29 of 31 shots in a 4-2 win over the Kings Sunday as the Blackhawks jumped out to a 2-0 series lead.
Crawford was given quite the cushion as his teammates jumped out to a 4-0 lead and we was able to coast from that point forward. He'll be in tough once the series shifts to Los Angeles Tuesday.

Corey Crawford kicked out 21 of 22 shots in a 2-1 victory in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals.
Crawford left the crease and mishandled the puck in the first period, which in hindsight cost him the shutout. He didn't let that mistake get to him and otherwise had a great game. Crawford has held the competition to just a goal in four of his last five starts.

Just in case there was any doubt, Corey Crawford is projected to start in both Saturday and Sunday's games.
"He had a couple [of back-to-backs] this year," Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville said. "We had ... those extra days in Detroit, there's a lot of time off there. There's time off before starting this series. We'll see." As good as Ray Emery was in the regular season, the Blackhawks will almost certainly use Crawford for the remainder of the playoffs unless Crawford sustains an injury or the opposition starts to consistently light him up.

After receiving a lot of flack for last season, especially in the playoffs, Chicago goaltender Corey Crawford is coming up big this postseason, and his coach and teammates have taken notice.
Crawford is tied for first in victories (eight), ranked second in goals-against average (1.70) and third in save percentage (.938). The goalie tied or just ahead of him in all those categories: the Los Angeles Kings' Jonathan Quick. The Hawks and Kings open their Western Conference final series today. Crawford lacks that Stanley Cup that Quick has, but he's getting the series victories that eluded him, and making the stops that his critics said he couldn't. "You have to commend (Crawford) on his composure and how he persevered over the last three games," Chicago coach Joel Quenneville said. "Winning the (previous series against the Red Wings) was big for him and for us; great job by him." Chicago star Patrick Kane said Crawford was "unbelievable" against Detroit, adding "He's a top goaltender in the league and he's proven that every game this year and through the playoffs, too. We're lucky to have him. He takes up a lot of space, a lot of room."

Corey Crawford now has a 7-2 record in elimination games.
Crawford just won three in a row against the Detroit Red Wings. Although goaltending was seen as Chicago's weak link going into the season, Crawford has been great in the playoffs with a 1.70 GAA and .938 save percentage. That being said, he has his work cut out for him in a duel against Kings netminder Jonathan Quick.

Corey Crawford made 26 saves as the Blackhawks defeated the Wings 2-1 in overtime in Game 7 of their second-round series Wednesday night.
The Presidents' Trophy winners keep their season alive, winning three straight games in the series to advance. Corey Crawford gave up his only goal 26 seconds into the second period. He now has a 1.78 goals-against average and .935 save percentage in the playoffs. Crawford will have to keep that up because Jonathan Quick has been nearly unbeatable for the Kings, for the second straight season. The four remaining teams in the playoffs are the last four Stanley Cup winners.

Corey Crawford stopped 35 of 38 shots in Chicago's 4-3 Game 6 win Monday night.
Crawford might have given up three goals, but he might have been the best player on the ice for Chicago. Crawford made some very big saves to keep Chicago in the game at the end of the second and helped protect the lead in the third period. With every win, Crawford is changing the public perception of him in the postseason. Game 7 is scheduled for Wednesday night in Chicago.

Corey Crawford turned aside 25 of 26 shots in a 4-1 victory.
Crawford has allowed just a goal in each of his last two starts. With this victory, the Blackhawks have forced a Game 6. Crawford was regarded as the Blackhawks weak link going into this season, but he's been superb in the postseason. If Chicago manages to come back and win their series against the Detroit Red Wings, it will likely be largely because of Crawford's efforts.

Corey Crawford admitted that when it comes to the Blackhawks "everyone's a little pissed off."
Chicago has now lost three straight games to Detroit after taking their second-round opener. "I thought we played well again. It just seems like we can't get bounces," Crawford said of their 2-0 loss on Thursday. Crawford can't really be faulted for their latest loss after stopping 25 of 26 shots. With that in mind, it would be shocking if Ray Emery started on Saturday.
