Corey Crawford has wrapped up what's been an incredible season for him. After a rough sophomore campaign, Crawford was part of the Jennings Trophy winning tandem. He also posted a 1.84 GAA and .932 save percentage in 23 playoff starts to win the Stanley Cup. "He obviously took a lot of heat over the last couple of years. And all he's done is just played unreal from start to finish this year," Duncan Keith said. "I can't say enough about him. The pressure on him, to do what he did was unbelievable."

Corey Crawford stopped 23 of 25 shots in the Chicago Blackhawks' Stanley Cup-clinching Game 6 win Monday night. Crawford had possibly his best game of the entire postseason, turning away the Bruins time after time after time throughout the night. His only lapses came on a picture-perfect passing play by Boston's suddenly-potent third line and on a bouncing-puck goal from Milan Lucic 12 minutes into the third period. Crawford didn't win the Conn Smythe Trophy for postseason MVP, but there's no way the Blackhawks would've gotten anywhere close to the Cup final without him.

Corey Crawford kicked out 24 of 25 shots in a 3-1 victory Saturday. Crawford was heavily criticized for his performance in Chicago's 6-5 overtime victory in Game 4, but he bounced back nicely tonight. Going into this season, Crawford was regarded as Chicago's weak link and it seems like their are people that still hold him to that label. All the same, he's been consistently good since the start of the season and he's been a big part of the Blackhawks' success. They now have a 3-2 series lead.

Chicago goaltender Corey Crawford insists his confidence is not shaken for Game 5 in the Stanley Cup final tonight even though a weakness may have been exposed in him during Game 4 the other night. Crawford's glove hand was shaky during his team's 6-5 overtime win in Boston in Game 4. He was beaten five times on 33 shots by the Boston Bruins. "I think it's something you have to learn from," Crawford said. "If that would've happened in junior, I think I would've been pretty deflated, and my confidence would've been pretty low. I think it's something you build over time and something you learn from." It was no secret the Bruins kept shooting glove-side Wednesday, and the 26-year-old deflected the notion he has a weakness that could derail Chicago's championship hopes. Crawford also acknowledged that adjustments might be necessary. Even this late in a run, it's possible that he and goalie coach Stephane Waite fix some mechanics before Crawford goes back in net. "Sometimes you need your goalie coach to look and see," he said. "As a goalie, it's tough sometimes to really know if you're fine. . ."

Jonathan Toews didn't see anything "terribly wrong" with Corey Crawford's performance in Wednesday's 6-5 overtime win. "Maybe some of the shots from far out
that went in overshadowed some of the stops that he did make, and for the
most part I think as forwards we can maybe be a little more responsible and
getting in shooting lanes the way they would against us and some of the
shots that we take that maybe don't go through that they ended up scoring
on. I'm not too
worried about how he's going to play in the next game," Toews said. Either way, Toews remains confident in Crawford's abilities going into Game 5.

Corey Crawford will play between the pipes in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final. Just in case there was any doubt. As good as Ray Emery was during the regular season, he hasn't played in nearly two months. At the same time, Crawford has been great for the most part in the playoffs and still has a 1.86 GAA even after allowing five goals in Chicago's overtime victory on Wednesday.

Corey Crawford allowed five goals in a single game for the first time in the 2013 playoffs. It was a wild contest that Chicago ended up winning 6-5 in overtime. "It was a battle to say the least," Crawford said. "Those games are going to happen once in a while. Our guys battled hard in front of me and obviously we scored a ton of goals, so it was just one of those games where you just kind of have to stick with it, brush it off and get ready for the next one." It wasn't Crawford's best game by any stretch of the imagination, but he has been superb in the playoffs. Once the books are closed on the 2013 postseason, we wouldn't be surprise if Wednesday's contest proves to be his worst outing of the playoffs from a statistical perspective.

Corey Crawford eked out a win despite giving up five goals in the Blackhawks' 6-5 overtime triumph against the Bruins on Wednesday night. Despite making 28 saves, Crawford did not have his best game in this one, and it's clear that Boston has found a way to beat him on a pretty consistent basis. All five of the Bruins' goals went to Crawford's glove side and 10 of the 12 goals in the series have beaten him that way. That being said, Crawford certainly made some big saves when he needed to most, especially in overtime when he was five-for-five. Chicago has now made this a best-of-three series.

Corey Crawford expects his teammates to be ready for Game 4 Wednesday night. "We've gone through a lot in these playoffs where ... it could have affected us but it didn't," Crawford said. "We bounce back from things. We don't change our game just because something happens. We're able to stick with it and not get our emotions all messed up." He has posted a .936 save percentage and a 1.74 GAA in the postseason and doesn't want to let an opportunity of winning the Stanley Cup pass him by. Chicago will be looking to even up their series with Boston on Wednesday night before heading back home for Game 5.

Corey Crawford stopped 33 of 35 shots in Monday night's 2-0 Game 3 loss to the Boston Bruins. Crawford got hung out to dry on both goals and was the only reason the game was still scoreless after the first period. Crawford hasn't been the reason Chicago has lost either of the last two games, but it's starting to look like he has to be nearly perfect for the Blackhawks to win a game. Crawford and the Hawks will look to rebound and even the series in Wednesday's Game 4.
