Despite two shots, Buffalo Sabres goalie Connor Knapp was not able to gain a win at the NHL level, as the New York Islanders won 4-3 (SO) on Sunday.
Knapp isn't likely to be a fantasy factor anytime soon, if ever.

Connor Knapp helped the Buffalo Sabres set an NHL record by becoming the ninth goalie to play for the team this season.
Knapp came into Saturday's game after Matthew Hackett suffered a leg injury. "I'm setting records right away when I get in," Knapp said. "It's a crazy year, for sure, within the organization." Knapp stopped six of seven shots against Boston.

Connor Knapp made his NHL debut in Saturday's loss to Boston.
He entered the game in relief during the third period after Matthew Hackett suffered an apparent leg injury and was removed from the ice on a stretcher. Knapp made six stops on seven shots in 11:35 of playing time. He could get his first NHL start in Sunday's finale, but it's uncertain right now how Buffalo will handle their crease situation.

Connor Knapp was called up from the minors Friday and will dress as Matthew Hackett's backup Saturday against the Bruins.
Knapp has played fro four minor league teams this season and is really not much of a prospect. However, if he does get into a game he will help set a Buffalo franchise record for the most goalies to play in a game during a season. To date, eight different netminders have donned a Sabre jersey in 2013-14. If Knapp becomes the ninth, it will be the most in team history.

Buffalo has inked college prospect goalie Connor Knapp to a two-year, entry-level deal.
He posted a 15-8-0 record with a 1.69 goals-against average, a .933 save percentage and five shutouts during his senior year at Miami University (Ohio) this past season. Knapp will join AHL Rochester for the remainder of the campaign on an amateur tryout. The Sabres chose him with a sixth-round pick in the 2009 draft.
