Mikka Zibanejad also scored his seventh goal of the campaign, while Jason Spezza, Bobby Ryan, Marc Methot and Joe Corvo registered assists in a losing cause.

Clarke MacArthur scored two goals as the Senators beat the Red Wings 4-2 in Detroit on Saturday night. Ottawa won for the first time in four games, and the Senators have also taken two in a row at Joe Louis Arena for only the second time. They beat the Red Wings 6-1 in Detroit on Oct. 23. ''Coming here is never easy,'' said MacArthur, who scored his fifth and sixth goals of the season. ''You've lost three in a row and you come in here and get a win.'' Chris Neil (fourth) and Bobby Ryan (11th) also netted goals for the Sens.

MacArthur scored a goal and an assist to give him 14 points in 20 games on the season. He does a little of everything, with a +11 rating, 16 PIM and solid-but-unspectacular 46 SOG.

Clarke MacArthur found the back of the net in Saturday's contest. MacArthur is riding a three-game point streak and has recorded at least a point in eight of his last 10 contests. He has three goals and 12 points in 16 games this season.

Clarke MacArthur was back in Ottawa's lineup Tuesday night. He suffered an undisclosed injury Friday and missed Sunday's contest as a result. MacArthur contributed two assists in the Senators' 6-5 loss to Chicago in his return.

Clarke MacArthur hasn't received the green light from his doctors to play on Tuesday yet. That being said, MacArthur is hoping to play and should be regarded as probable. He has five assists and eight penalty minutes in 10 games in 2013-14.

Clarke MacArthur (undisclosed) skated Monday and is likely to play against Chicago Tuesday night. He didn't play Sunday because of a minor injury, which he sustained in Friday's match versus Anaheim.
