Stewart scored his team leading third goal of the season in Monday's loss to the Coyotes.
EDGE Analysis
The goal came early in the first and was his first tally on the power play this season. While he's back to playing on the fourth line at even strength, Stewart is on the second power play unit and earned almost three minutes of ice on the man advantage in Monday's game. The goal will only give coach Bruce Boudreau more confidence in him as the season goes on, and should lead to Stewart getting more opportunities to put points on the board in the coming weeks.

Stewart scored his second of the season in Wednesday's shootout win over the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
Stewart now has four points (two goals, two assists) on the season, all of which have come in the past two games. After starting the season on the fourth line, a combination of injuries and improved play has landed Stewart a role in Anaheim's top six. While he's unlikely to maintain that spot considering the team's tendency to move forwards around fairly often, he's worth a look in deeper leagues while he's hot.

Stewart recorded his first three points of the season (one goal, two assists) in Sunday's win over the Predators.
EDGE Analysis
A much-needed breakout for Stewart, who had been held scoreless in the team's previous nine games. He won't produce a ton of points in a bottom-six role, but Stewart is a former 28-goal-scorer who should be one of the players that gets going if Anaheim can build off a big victory Sunday.

Stewart went 0-for-9 on shooting and recorded no assists within the Ducks' first five games of the season.
EDGE Analysis
Stewart has started the season off cold after joining the Ducks as an unrestricted free agent over the offseason. Anaheim's right wing suffered from a separated shoulder during the 2015 playoffs, which may be playing a role in his underwhelming performance this 2015-16 season. However, Stewart could have more opportunities in the long season ahead.

Stewart (shoulder) has signed a one-year, $1.7 million deal with the Ducks, according to John Shannon of Sportsnet. He had a combined 14 goals and 36 points last season between the Sabres and Wild. He has struggled to return to the lofty heights of his sophomore season (2009-10) when he tallied 28 goals and 64 points in 77 games with the Avs, but still has some scoring potential at 27. He may slot in on a scoring line or provide a big body on the third line. Training camp will tell the tale.

Stewart revealed during Monday's season-ending media availability that he suffered a separated right shoulder in Game 2 of the Wild's second-round matchup with the Blackhawks, Michael Russo of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. Stewart, who missed the final two games of the series with the injury, is set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer. The Wild acquired Stewart as a rental from the Sabres prior to the trade deadline, and after getting only three goals and 11 points out of him in 28 games (including the postseason), the team could be inclined to let him walk.

Michael Russo of the Minneapolis Star Tribune relays that Stewart's arm "looked basically immobile" during the forward's time on the ice in the course of Thursday's morning skate. Stewart, who missed Tuesday's contest against Chicago after being injured this past Sunday, thus looks unlikely to rejoin the Minnesota lineup for Thursday's Game 4 of the team's second-round playoff series.

Stewart (upper body) won't play Tuesday against Chicago. Previous reports suggested that Stewart is dealing with an arm injury, but in any case, the forward is considered day-to-day by the Wild in advance of Thursday's Game 4.

Stewart (arm) was not on the ice for Tuesday's morning skate, Chad Graff of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports. The report notes that Stewart sustained a right arm injury in Sunday's Game 2 against Chicago, with his absence from the team's morning skate thus clouding his availability for Tuesday's Game 3.

Stewart collected a power-play assist in Thursday's Game 1 victory over the Blues. Since joining the Wild at the March 2 trade deadline, Stewart has recorded three goals and nine assists in 21 games, but the assist Thursday gave him his first point on the man advantage. With a top-six role still intact in the postseason, Stewart should be able to continue to maintain a half-point-per-game scoring pace.
