DiDomenico agreed to terms on a two-year contract with SCL Tigers (NLA) on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Prior to a mid-February trade, DiDomenico logged 24 games for the Senators last year. In those appearances, the center tallied six goals, four assists and 23 shots. Once the Toronto native joined the Blackhawks, he spent the rest of the campaign in the minors with AHL Rockford. It will be a homecoming of sorts for the 29-year-old who previously spent four seasons with the Tigers from 2013-17.

The Senators traded DiDomenico to the Blackhawks in exchange for Ville Pokka on Thursday, NHL.com's Tracey Myers reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Blackhawks probably weren't going to sign Pokka to another extension this offseason, so they decided to cut their losses and deal the 23-year-old blueliner in exchange for a veteran pivot who has shown he can produce in a bottom-six role at the NHL level. DiDomenico will report to AHL Rockford, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him spend some time with the big club before the 2017-18 campaign comes to a close.

The Senators waived Didomenico on Wednesday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Senators just acquired Nick Shore in a trade with the Kings, so they're no longer in need of DiDomenico's services as a bottom-six forward. If he goes unclaimed, the 28-year-old pivot will be assigned to AHL Belleville.

DiDomenico was recalled to Ottawa on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
DiDomenico skated twice for AHL Belleville over the weekend, making it clear he was moved down to get him more game experience during the All-Star break. With that behind him, he should be spending the rest of the season in Ottawa.

DiDomenico was moved down to AHL Belleville on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
This seems strange considering that DiDomenico has logged above 15 minutes of ice time in each of the Senators' past three games. However, this might be an effort to keep DiDomenico active, as the AHL Senators play two games this weekend while the NHL Senators enter the All-Star break. If he's on your roster, it's a good idea to hold on to him for now, as he might be recalled next week when Ottawa returns to action.

DiDomenico set up Matt Duchene's goal in a 3-1 loss to Minnesota on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
DiDomenico made his first NHL game of 2018 count, earning his fourth assist in the 14 games he's played this season. He also cracked 20 shifts for the first time since October, which says that Guy Boucher might be open to giving him a long look after promoting him from AHL Belleville. At a minimum, he'll be with Ottawa through Tuesday's game in St. Louis and could stick around a little longer, making him a potential budget play in daily leagues.

DiDomenico was recalled from AHL Belleville on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
DiDomenico's call-up doesn't bode well for Nate Thompson's (lower body) availability for Monday's tilt with the Wild. The 28-year-old DiDomenico has tallied 13 goals in 23 outings this season and will be hard pressed to crack his way into coach Guy Boucher's lineup versus Minnesota. If the center does suit up, it would likely come at the expense of Filip Chlapik.

DiDomenico was sent back to AHL Belleville on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
DiDomenico was called up to shore up an injury-riddled offensive unit in Ottawa, but with four days off, his services aren't needed for the time being. If Bobby Ryan (finger) isn't healed by Wednesday, though, DiDomenico will likely be called up again.

DiDomenico was recalled from AHL Belleville on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
The rookie centerman has missed the past 15 games, as he was claimed off waivers by the Lightning, only to go full circle back to Ottawa on a separate claim with the Bolts dropping him after only a week's time. DiDomenico is a skilled offensive producer -- he's dropped three goals and six points over 12 NHL games this season -- but at least Tampa had concerns about his conditioning. It's best to take a wait-and-see approach with the 28-year-old.

DiDomenico was claimed off waivers by the Senators on Saturday, Bruce Garrioch of Postmedia reports.
EDGE Analysis
DiDomenico was placed on waivers just over a week ago by the Senators and subsequently claimed by the Lightning, but will head back to his former team after being waived again. The 28-year-old has put up decent numbers this season for the Sens when given the opportunity, racking up six points (three goals, three assists) over 12 games.
