Pickard stopped 23 of 27 shots in Thursday's 6-4 win over the Kings in Game 6.
EDGE Analysis
This was Pickard's fourth straight win, and it allowed the Oilers to complete their comeback from a 2-0 series deficit. They advanced with this victory and will meet the Golden Knights in the second round. Pickard has allowed 13 shots on 121 shots over five playoff appearances, but he's kept the starting job because he's getting results. If he falters versus Vegas, it wouldn't be surprising to see Stuart Skinner get another chance in goal.

Pickard will patrol the home crease versus Los Angeles on Thursday, per Tony Brar of Oilers TV.
EDGE Analysis
Pickard took over from Stuart Skinner midway through the third period in Game 2 and has led the Oilers to three straight wins after they lost the opening two games. Pickard has allowed eight goals on 91 shots in his three playoff starts versus the Kings. Los Angeles is second in NHL scoring during the playoffs, generating 4.00 goals per game.

Pickard stopped 21 of 22 shots in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Kings in Game 5.
EDGE Analysis
Pickard gave up just a power-play goal by Andrei Kuzmenko in the second period, which was quickly answered by Evander Kane. The 33-year-old Pickard has helped the Oilers flip a 2-0 deficit into a 3-2 lead in the series, putting them in the driver's seat heading into Game 6 on Thursday. Pickard is a virtual lock to start that contest considering he has all the momentum on his side.

Pickard will be between the pipes on the road for Tuesday's Game 5 matchup with the Kings, Mark Spector of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
Pickard is riding a two-game winning streak despite having given up seven goals on 69 combined shots (.899 save percentage) in those outings. At this point, Pickard likely has earned enough leash to get another start even if he falters in Game 5 -- though the Oilers have Stuart Skinner, who is no doubt anxious to retake the starting job.

Pickard stopped 38 of 41 shots in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over the Kings in Game 4.
EDGE Analysis
The Oilers pulled off a late comeback, scoring twice in the third period and then again on a power play in overtime to overcome a 3-1 deficit in the game. Pickard has allowed seven goals on 69 shots over the last two contests, but he's won both of those games, so it looks like he's overtaken Stuart Skinner as the Oilers' No. 1 goalie. The Oilers will look to take their home-ice success on the road when they play in Los Angeles for Game 5 on Tuesday.

Pickard will guard the home net Sunday against the Kings in Game 4, Tony Brar of Oilers TV reports.
EDGE Analysis
Pickard will get a second straight start after stopping 24 of 28 shots in a win in Game 3. The 33-year-old netminder, who entered in relief of a struggling Stuart Skinner in Game 2, went 22-10-1 with a .900 save percentage in the regular season.

Pickard allowed four goals on 28 shots in Friday's 7-4 win over the Kings in Game 3.
EDGE Analysis
Pickard was able to do what Stuart Skinner couldn't in the first two games of the series -- secure a win. That said, Pickard looked no better than his fellow goalie in doing so, but this win at least bought the Oilers some breathing room, as a loss would have put them on the brink of elimination. The 33-year-old could be tabbed to start again in Game 4 on Sunday as the Oilers try to establish some positive momentum.

Pickard is slated to start Friday's Game 3 at home against the Kings, Zach Cavanagh of The Sporting Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Although Stuart Skinner drew the start in each of the Oilers' first two playoff matchups this year, Pickard entered Wednesday's Game 2 loss in relief and allowed a goal on three shots (.667 save percentage). The Oilers are making several changes to their lineup ahead of Game 3, including giving Pickard the start. Pickard made two starts against the Kings during the regular season, going 0-2-0 with a 3.52 GAA and .891 save percentage.

Pickard stopped two of three shots in relief of Stuart Skinner in Wednesday's 6-2 loss to the Kings in Game 2.
EDGE Analysis
Pickard allowed a goal to Adrian Kempe immediately after entering the contest, squashing any hopes of the Oilers making a comeback. Stuart Skinner has allowed 11 goals on 58 shots over the first two games of the series, so it's hard to imagine Pickard doing any worse if he gets the start on home ice for Friday's Game 3. However, if the Kings continue to play well, neither Edmonton goalie will be a viable option in fantasy.

Pickard stopped 31 of 36 shots in Monday's 5-0 loss to the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
The Oilers were extremely shorthanded Monday, so the 5-0 defeat wasn't shocking. However, the loss also snapped Pickard's excellent run of form. The 33-year-old veteran had won five of his previous six starts before Monday's meltdown. Pickard has posted a 2.58 GAA and a .907 save percentage over his last seven outings. The Oilers have one final game in the regular season when they face the Sharks on Wednesday, though it's unclear if Pickard will get the nod in that matchup.
