Makar scored a power-play goal on four shots and added two PIM in Wednesday's 2-1 shootout loss to the Stars.
EDGE Analysis
Makar scored for the first time since the Avalanche's previous game against the Stars on March 6. This was Makar's 20th goal of the season, a mark he's achieved in four of the last five years. The superstar defenseman is up to 69 points (24 on the power play), 179 shots on net, 109 blocked shots, 24 PIM, 33 hits and a plus-32 rating through 67 appearances. Barring a massive surge, he'll fall short of the 90-point mark for the first time in three years.

Makar produced a goal and an assist, both on the power play, in Friday's 5-4 shootout win over the Stars.
EDGE Analysis
Both points came in the first period, as Makar opened the scoring early in the frame before having a hand in a Nathan MacKinnon tally with just two seconds left before intermission. Playing for Team Canada in the Olympics seems to have rejuvenated Makar. The star blueliner had just one goal and four points in the last 10 games before the break. However, he has busted out for four goals and nine points in six games since the NHL schedule resumed.

Makar scored a goal on two shots, added two assists and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Ducks.
EDGE Analysis
Makar opened the scoring at 11:33 of the first period and helped out on the Avalanche's next two tallies as well. The 27-year-old defenseman has three goals and three assists over his last three outings. He was quiet heading into the Olympics, but he's on a roll again and should continue to put up big numbers on offense. Makar has 18 goals, 64 points (21 on the power play), 162 shots on net, 99 blocked shots and a plus-34 rating over 60 appearances.

Makar scored two goals, including an empty-netter, put three shots on net and recorded two blocked shots in Saturday's 3-1 win over Chicago.
EDGE Analysis
Makar found the back of the net with just nine seconds remaining in the second period to tie the game at one before sealing the victory with his empty-net goal in the third. With the pair of twine finders, he is up to 17 goals, 60 points, 155 shots on goal and 95 blocked shots across 58 games this season. The reigning Norris Trophy winner is crafting another solid case for the award, and he could be fueled even further to post a strong season following Canada's second-place finish at the Olympics. Look for Makar to challenge the 90-point mark for the third consecutive season.

Makar scored a goal on two shots in Friday's 7-3 loss to the Flyers.
EDGE Analysis
Makar remains one of the most productive blueliners in the NHL, so by now, fantasy managers should be used to seeing him finding ways to crack the scoresheet on a steady basis. Makar has recorded 10 points (three goals, seven assists) in 10 games in January while also adding 19 shots on goal, seven hits and 16 blocked shots, so he's bringing the effort on both ends of the ice.

Makar scored a goal on two shots and picked up a power-play assist in a 4-3 loss to Toronto on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Makar has three multi-point games over his last six outings, generating two goals and six assists, including five with the man advantage. At his current pace, the offensively-gifted blueliner should be capable of reaching the 90-point threshold for the third consecutive year and could even challenge for 100.

Makar's goal stood as the game-winner, and he added secondary helpers on goals by Martin Necas and Brock Nelson during the Avalanche's onslaught of offense in the second period. For the season, the superstar defenseman is up to 13 goals, 38 helpers, 119 shots on net, 74 blocked shots and a plus-30 rating over 43 appearances. Makar is up to 47 points (12 goals, 35 helpers), 115 shots on net, 67 blocked shots and a plus-33 rating through 40 appearances this season. Makar scored a goal and took four shots in Monday's 5-2 win over the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Makar closed out the scoring for the Avs with his 12th goal of the season, a snap shot that went past Anton Forsberg at the 19:15 mark of the third period. Makar also snapped a brief two-game stretch with no points -- it was the first time this season that he had gone back-to-back games without cracking the scoresheet. That's the best example of the kind of value Makar brings to the table as a blueliner, as he remains an elite fantasy contributor who plays a key role in one of the best teams in the NHL.

Makar scored a power-play goal, earned two assists and fired seven shots on net in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Wild.
EDGE Analysis
Makar had a hand in all three goals scored by Colorado across the first two periods of Sunday's contest. He assisted the tallies scored by Martin Necas and Nathan MacKinnon before scoring himself on a power play late in the second. With the three-point effort, Makar is up to 11 goals, 32 assists, 105 shots on net and 61 blocks through 35 appearances this season. Sunday's performance came after just his fourth scoreless outing since the start of November. Makar remains the undisputed top blueliner to have in fantasy and is currently on pace for the century mark in points, which would be a new career high if he can continue his current level of production.
