Campbell is hoping to return to the Panthers next season, Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Campbell, who will be an unrestricted free agent this summer, just finished out an eight-year deal for which he earned $7.14 million annually. He managed just one assist for his only point in the season, but Campell led all Cats with a plus-31 rating in the regular season. He was a key reason why the Panthers boasted the seventh-best defense in the league in 2015-16, and it would make sense for the Panthers to retain his services if the price is right.

Campbell racked up a goal, an assist and a plus-4 rating Tuesday in a 7-4 win over Buffalo.
EDGE Analysis
That's now eight points in the last nine games for Campbell, a marked departure from his previously worse-than-mediocre work over the past year and a half. It's hard to say that this will continue, but he's definitely benefiting from the Panthers' team-wide improvement. And it's nice for him to have a big night at the expense of the Sabres, who drafted Campbell 19 years ago; he spent parts of eight seasons in a Buffalo sweater.

Campbell racked up two helpers -- both on the power play -- in Tuesday's 5-1 win over Toronto.
EDGE Analysis
The good times keep rolling for Campbell, who is now riding a four-game point streak. The 36-year-old defenseman is an impressive plus-16 and is on pace for the eighth 30-point season of his NHL career, so it wouldn't hurt to pick him up while he's hot.

Campbell scored his third goal of the season in 24:12 of ice time in Friday's win over Chicago.
EDGE Analysis
That's points in back-to-back games for Campbell, who was named second star of the game Friday. The 36-year-old is having a quiet year offensively with just 16 points in 47 games, but he's playing a huge role for the Panthers, averaging 21:38 of ice time and sporting a plus-14 rating. The puck-moving blueliner remains a decent offensive contributor, but at age 36, his 50-point days are likely over.

Campbell tallied an assist while logging 26:31 of ice time in Monday's defeat to Edmonton.
EDGE Analysis
At 36-years-old, Campbell is still producing at a high level and logging plenty of ice time. While he's down almost two minutes per game from last season, he's still capable of logging nearly a half-hour when called upon. He has two goals and 15 points this season including five assists on the power play and a shorthanded goal.

Campbell scored the game-winning goal in overtime Sunday against the Red Wings.
EDGE Analysis
Campbell doesn't get on the scoresheet often, and had been held without a point in his last five games coming into Sunday, but the goal was a big one to help deliver the Panthers the win. The 36-year-old has been a 50-point producer in the past, but with just nine points thus far (two goals, seven assists), he's unlikely to replicate those sorts of numbers.

Campbell scored a goal and two assists in Tuesday's victory over the Avs.
EDGE Analysis
The 36-year-old has been a strong point producer from the blue line in the past including scoring 53 points in 2011-12 and has been one of the rare veterans on the youthful Panthers. After scoring 27 points last season, Campbell likely isn't a consistent enough scorer to be a fantasy option except in the deepest leagues.

Campbell tallied an assist, picked up two penalty minutes, posted a plus-1 rating and took two shots on goal in Tuesday's victory over the Hurricanes.
EDGE Analysis
Campbell has a pair of assists on the season and a plus-2 rating, but has still shown a penchant for making poor decisions in the Panthers' zone. After logging more than 20 minutes of ice time in the opener, he played in only 15:25 on Tuesday. The 36-year-old will need to be dependable for the Panthers if they want to make the playoffs and any offensive contribution he can make will only help.

Campbell picked up an assist and four penalty minutes in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Bruins. The 35-year-old isn't typically the biggest source of either points or penalty minutes, so the four penalty minutes is always nice to see, particularly when the opponent can't convert on either power play opportunity. Campbell now has an assist in three out of four games including two in a row on the power play. He averages more than 23 minutes per game on the ice, and while that has dwindled a bit, Campbell is an intriguing option for the home stretch of the season.

Campbell was awarded an assist on the power play in Sunday's 4-2 victory over the Senators. Campbell now has two points and a plus-3 rating in his last three games and has logged heavy ice time to go with it. His 25 points (three goals, 22 assists) is second among defensemen on the team and leads the team in average time on ice at more than 23 minutes per game. While he won't pick up too many goals or penalty minutes, Campbell is an interesting play for fantasy owners who need to boost their ice time and need help in the assist category.
