Bellemore signed a one-year contract Sunday with HC Kunlun Red Star of the KHL, Patrick Williams of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bellemore, 28, failed to see any NHL action last season as a member of the Bruins organization, instead playing exclusively with AHL Providence. He accumulated just six points in 56 games, numbers that didn't exactly help his cause in making his way back to the NHL. He'll likely see a pay raise by heading overseas, but Bellemore has little chance of reappearing on the NHL radar down the road.

Bellemore was cut from the Rangers' training camp roster Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Bellemore never projected as more than an end-of-the-bench defenseman, and he'll now head back to the AHL, where he's likely to spend much of the 2015-16 campaign.

Bellemore signed a professional tryout offer with the Rangers, Andrew Gross of The Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
Along with Raphael Diaz, Chris Summers, and Dylan McIlrath, Bellemore is expected to compete for a role as the Rangers' seventh defenseman. Even if he comes away with those duties, Bellemore will serve as a healthy scratch on most occasions, which will make it difficult for him to surpass the already modest production (two goals, 10 points in 49 games) he provided for Carolina a season ago.

Bellemore dished out two assists and went plus-1 in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Stars. His ice time fell back off to 17:12 from Tuesday's season-high minutes, but Bellemore snapped a four-game stretch without a point. With just eight points in 38 games on the year, though, there's not much to be found here from a fantasy perspective unless your league counts hits.

Bellemore skated a season-high 21:23 in Tuesday's loss to the Blue Jackets. He finished the game with zero points but had six hits. Bellemore is seeing an increased workload now that Tim Gleason and Andrej Sekera (traded to the Capitals and Kings, respectively) are no longer patrolling the Canes' blue line. That said, with just six points in 37 games so far this season, Bellemore's offensive output will be lucky to hit double digits by season's end; accordingly, he has fantasy value in ultra-deep formats only.

Bellemore scored his first goal of the season and collected five PIM in Friday's win over Washington. Bellemore now has six points and a plus-3 rating in 33 games on the season. Considering the defenseman averages just 15:32 of ice time and has only recorded 16 shots on goal, Bellmore is only valuable in the deepest of fantasy leagues.

Bellemore (illness) was on the ice for pregame warmups and appears set to play Friday against the Capitals, Chip Alexander of the Raleigh News & Observer reports. Bellemore was a game-time decision after missing the Canes' morning skate with the illness, but he made enough progress in the afternoon for the team to feel comfortable using him. Few fantasy players were likely awaiting an announcement on Bellemore's status with much anxiousness, as the blueliner has produced no goals and five assists over 32 games this season.

Bellemore is dealing with a minor illness, but he should still be able to play in Friday's game against the Capitals. Hurricanes coach Bill Peters said he expects Bellemore and Eric Staal (illness) to play in Friday's game, even though both players missed morning skate.

Bellemore notched an assist in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Lightning. The 26-year-old Bellemore routinely shuffles out of the lineup as a healthy scratch periodically and often sees fewer than 18 minutes when he plays, making it difficult to extract much value out of him. Tuesday's assist was his fourth point in 25 games this season.

Bellemore (lower body) was activated from injured reserve Thursday. Bellemore missed the previous seven games with the injury, but has been skating for the last week. The Hurricanes appear content to ease him back into action, as he'll serve as a healthy scratch for Thursday's game against the Lightning.
