The Maple Leafs have loaned Leipsic to the Toronto Marlies of the AHL.
EDGE Analysis
Along with Leipsic, who has notched one goal and three points in six games with the Maple Leafs to date, the big club also loaned fellow forward Kasperi Kapanen to the Marlies. While the duo could be back with the Leafs before long, Jonas Siegel of the Canadian Press suggests that Sunday's moves could be related to the potential return to action of both Milan Michalek and Brad Boyes.

Leipsic was called up to the Leafs on an emergency basis Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Leipsic's recorded 37 points in 50 games with AHL Toronto this season. A checking winger with some offensive flair, Leipsic's ascension to the parent club is the result of an upper-body injury to Brad Boyes.

Leipsic has been loaned to the Toronto Marlies of the AHL, the Toronto Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 21-year-old Leipsic, who has recorded a goal and an assist in four games for the Leafs this season, was part of a roster churn up front on Monday that resulted in three forwards (including Leipsic) being sent to the AHL and five being recalled by the big club.

Leipsic was called up Monday to Toronto, James Mirtle of the Globe and Mail reports.
EDGE Analysis
Leipsic's recall comes after the Maple Leafs traded away Nick Spaling and Roman Polak as part of the team's rebuilding process. The 21-year-old scored a goal in his one and only NHL game and is likely to see significant ice time given Toronto's lack of options from their trade deadline fire sale. The winger will look to bring his AHL productivity, 37 points in 49 games, to the pros and prove why he should remain a part of the organization's future.

Leipsic was reassigned to AHL Toronto on Tuesday, James Mirtle of TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Leipsic received an emergency call-up to the NHL squad and scored in his lone game with the parent club, but he'll now head back to the AHL. The 21-year-old has been impressive with 14 goals and 20 assists in 47 games at that level this season, so he may eventually get another shot in the NHL before the end of the season.

Leipsic got his first NHL goal in his first game in Saturday's win over the Canucks. It stood up as the winner.
EDGE Analysis
He batted the puck out of the air with a sweet left-handed baseball swing that will be remembered for a long time. Leipsic is a poor-man's Brad Marchand -- he plays hard and gets under people's skin. But his skills aren't quite at the same level as the Boston pest. Leipsic will provide fantasy value at some point, but right now, he's just an emergency call-up.

Leipsic was called up to the Leafs on emergency conditions Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The Leafs decided to place Jared Cowen (hip) and Josh Leivo (upper body) on injured reserve Saturday, which had left the team thin at the forward position before recalling Leipsic and Jeremy Morin. Best known for his energy and quickness, Leipsic has turned in 14 goals and 20 assists with the Marlies through 47 games this campaign. However, he has yet to debut in the NHL.

Leipsic was reassigned to AHL Toronto on Wednesday, Jonas Siegel of TSN Radio 1050 AM reports.
EDGE Analysis
Leipsic will head back to the minors for a second straight season, despite a huge campaign at the AHL level in 2014-15 (14 goals, 40 assists in 67 games). The 21-year-old center will likely have to wait for an injury in order to get a shot with the big club this season.

Leipsic was traded from the Predators to the Maple Leafs on Sunday.Leipsic currently ranks fourth among AHL rookies in scoring, and will provide the Leafs with some organizational depth as they freed up some cash and added a first-round pick in 2015.

Leipsic has six assists in four games for the AHL Milwaukee Admirals so far this season. Leipsic, who had previously been following the NHL's concussion protocol following an on-ice collision during training camp in September, appears to be back to full health. Leipsic could certainly be called upon to fill in for the Preds at some point this season, but it would likely be in a checking line capacity only.
