Schenn notched assists on the first two goals of Thursday's 6-3 win over the Islanders and ended up plus-3.
EDGE Analysis
He's been cruising on offense lately, registering 10 points alongside a plus-7 rating in his last 10 contests. Still, he's had a bit of a down year, as Schenn will have to finish on a red-hot run to match last year's 59 points -- he's seven short with five games left to play -- and his rating is still minus-17, easily a career worst. That said, at just 25 years old, Schenn has a lot of quality hockey ahead of him.

Schenn netted the overtime-winning goal Sunday against the Hurricanes.
EDGE Analysis
Schenn scored for the third time in four games, giving him 22 tallies on the season. The 25-year-old has come through with a clutch six game-winning goals and been a force with the man advantage. Four straight seasons around the 20-goal mark make him a reliable scorer worth rolling out in most leagues every night.

Schenn registered two assists (one with the man advantage), a minor penalty and four hits during Wednesday's win over Pittsburgh.
EDGE Analysis
While it was the 10th multi-point showing from Schenn this season, his 20 goals and 45 points represent a slight decline from last year's numbers. Additionally, his minus-24 rating is a significant anchor. Thankfully, Schenn is still moving the needle in the power-play points (27), PIM (36) and hits (171) columns. So, if you can stomach the plus-minus hit or the category isn't included in your league, Schenn remains a solid asset.

Schenn scored a second-period goal during Wednesday's loss to Washington.
EDGE Analysis
Outside of his minus-19 rating, Schenn is having another solid fantasy campaign. He's posted 19 goals, 39 points and 128 shots with 38 PIM and 156 hits, which makes him a solid cross-category contributor in the majority of seasonal settings. He's also now scored in three consecutive games, and there is no reason to expect him to suddenly stop tipping the scales across all categories.

Schenn scored the game-winning goal Sunday against Vancouver.
EDGE Analysis
Schenn struck on the power play for the second consecutive night, giving him a whopping 14 tallies with the man advantage this season. His 38 points are nothing special, but Schenn is approaching the 20-goal mark and has been an absolute machine on the power play this season. The 25-year-old skates on the top line with Wayne Simmonds and Claude Giroux and is valuable in most fantasy formats.

Schenn potted a power-play goal and added an assist Thursday in Edmonton.
EDGE Analysis
Thirteen of Schenn's 17 goals have come with the extra man. He continues to be absolutely abhorrent at even strength, as his minus-1 rating in this one brought the 25-year-old forward's season total to minus-20. That career-low mark represents a major step back after Schenn finished with a positive rating for the first time in his career at plus-3 last season.

Schenn (illness) will be in the lineup Thursday against Montreal, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
According to the report, Schenn had a 24-hour flu and is good to go now that it's out of his system. Expect Schenn to get his usual minutes while serving as the Flyers' second-line center and as a member of their top powerplay unit.

Schenn did not take part in practice Wednesday as he deals with an illness, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
It is unclear what impact this will have on Schenn's availability for Thursday's outing against the Canadiens. With 13 points in his last 15 matchups, fantasy owners will certainly be hoping for a quick recovery for the defenseman. If he is unable to play, Dale Weise would seem the leading candidate to slot into the lineup, although the team may opt to call up a player from AHL Lehigh Valley.

Schenn has 10 points (five goals, five assists) in 12 games in the month of January. That includes five power-play points.
EDGE Analysis
Schenn missed time early this season, but he's more than made up for that. He's already got 19 power-play points, leaving him only three behind the career-high 22 he put up last year. Needless to say, Schenn is all but guaranteed to surpass that number, and will likely finish the season as one of the NHL's top power-play performers.

Schenn broke up Sabres netminder Anders Nilsson's shutout bid with a power-play goal late in the third period Tuesday, but it wasn't nearly enough in a 4-1 loss. He finished minus-2 with five shots.
EDGE Analysis
Schenn has been a consistent scoresheet presence of late, as he's operating at a point-per-game pace over the last seven contests. The 25-year-old is running only slightly short of last year's point-gathering pace, but he's racking up power-play points like there's no tomorrow -- 16 of them already in 40 games. Unfortunately, that positive is balanced somewhat by an unpleasant minus-9 rating.
