McNabb will take the day off for Sunday's tilt against Boston.
EDGE Analysis
After mainly being paired with Deryk Engelland throughout the first four games of the season, McNabb will be scratched Sunday. This should just be a regular rest day for the Canadian, and he'll likely return against Buffalo on Tuesday.

McNabb registered one shot on goal against Anaheim in a 4-2 preseason defeat.
EDGE Analysis
Although McNabb was limited offensively, he still collected four hits and blocked one shot. The 26-year-old is one of the more experienced defenseman on Las Vegas, and should see an uptick from his 15:04 average ice time he logged in the 2016-17 season for Los Angeles.

McNabb was selected from Los Angeles by the Golden Knights on Wednesday, John Shannon of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
McNabb was the perfect combination of age (26) and contract terms ($1.7 million) to make him a solid choice for the start-up franchise. The defenseman logged just 49 contests this season due to injury in which he garnered only four points. Fantasy owners shouldn't expect a sudden influx of scoring from the 26-year-old but reaching the 20-point mark -- as he did in 2014-15 -- is certainly within the realm of possibilities.

McNabb recorded an assist and a plus-5 rating through 16:38 of ice time during Thursday's win over Florida.
EDGE Analysis
McNabb is a depth defenseman for the Kings and receives very limited power-play time. Despite beginning 66.0 percent of his five-on-five shifts in the offensive zone, the 26-year-old rearguard has accumulated just two goals and four points this season. He's off the fantasy grid in most settings.

McNabb (collarbone) has been activated from injured reserve and is eligible to return for Thursday's showdown in Edmonton, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports.
EDGE Analysis
The removal for IR suggests that McNabb should be ready to play Thursday and he could immediately slot back into one of the Kings' top two defensive pairings. We'll be sure to update his status if he is scratched prior to puck drop, but for now, you should expect to see McNabb back on the LA blue line after a 27-game absence.

McNabb (collarbone) has been medically cleared but needs more practice time before he will be activated off IR, Helene Elliott of the LA Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
McNabb has not played since late October, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that he would need some additional practice time to get his legs back under him. The blueliner has not yet been ruled out for Wednesday's matchup against Vancouver, but with practice time at a premium, he may not return until after the New Year.

McNabb (collarbone) is nearing a return and should rejoin the lineup shortly after the Christmas break, LA Kings Insider reports.
EDGE Analysis
McNabb has been sidelined since the end of October and continues to work his way back into the lineup but we should have a better idea on his eventual return after the Kings resume practicing following the Christmas break. He has two goals in eight games played this season following last year's 14-point (two goals, 12 assists in 81 games) effort.

EDGE Analysis
McNabb's still looking at a return towards the end of December but his presence at practice is a step in the right direction.

McNabb (collarbone) is "at least a month away" from returning according to coach Darryl Sutter, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports.
EDGE Analysis
Broken collarbones are tricky injuries that can take a while to heal, so it's not surprising to hear that McNabb is likely to miss at least most of December. Despite injuries to the 25-year-old blueliner and star goalie Jonathan Quick (groin), the Kings' defense has been solid this season, allowing only 2.41 goals per game.

McNabb is expected to miss at least four weeks with a broken collarbone, the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
McNabb broke his collarbone in Saturday's win over the Blues upon crashing into the boards, with Kings coach Darryl Sutter saying the defenseman needed a plate affixed to the collarbone to ensure proper healing. Look for more of Derek Forbort while McNabb rehabs from his injury, though he lacks value outside of leagues that have a heavy emphasis on penalty minutes.
