McNabb (collarbone) has been activated from injured reserve and is eligible to return for Thursday's showdown in Edmonton, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports.
EDGE Analysis
The removal for IR suggests that McNabb should be ready to play Thursday and he could immediately slot back into one of the Kings' top two defensive pairings. We'll be sure to update his status if he is scratched prior to puck drop, but for now, you should expect to see McNabb back on the LA blue line after a 27-game absence.

McNabb (collarbone) has been medically cleared but needs more practice time before he will be activated off IR, Helene Elliott of the LA Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
McNabb has not played since late October, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that he would need some additional practice time to get his legs back under him. The blueliner has not yet been ruled out for Wednesday's matchup against Vancouver, but with practice time at a premium, he may not return until after the New Year.

McNabb (collarbone) is nearing a return and should rejoin the lineup shortly after the Christmas break, LA Kings Insider reports.
EDGE Analysis
McNabb has been sidelined since the end of October and continues to work his way back into the lineup but we should have a better idea on his eventual return after the Kings resume practicing following the Christmas break. He has two goals in eight games played this season following last year's 14-point (two goals, 12 assists in 81 games) effort.

McNabb (collarbone) was able to take some slapshots at the end of the Kings' practice, LA Kings Insider reports.
EDGE Analysis
McNabb's still looking at a return towards the end of December but his presence at practice is a step in the right direction.

McNabb (collarbone) is "at least a month away" from returning according to coach Darryl Sutter, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports.
EDGE Analysis
Broken collarbones are tricky injuries that can take a while to heal, so it's not surprising to hear that McNabb is likely to miss at least most of December. Despite injuries to the 25-year-old blueliner and star goalie Jonathan Quick (groin), the Kings' defense has been solid this season, allowing only 2.41 goals per game.

McNabb is expected to miss at least four weeks with a broken collarbone, the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
McNabb broke his collarbone in Saturday's win over the Blues upon crashing into the boards, with Kings coach Darryl Sutter saying the defenseman needed a plate affixed to the collarbone to ensure proper healing. Look for more of Derek Forbort while McNabb rehabs from his injury, though he lacks value outside of leagues that have a heavy emphasis on penalty minutes.

McNabb (upper body) is listed on the Kings' injured reserve on the NHL's official media site.
EDGE Analysis
In typical fashion, coach Daryl Sutter was very tight-lipped on McNabb's status going into Sunday, but the NHL's official media site has exposed the truth to the extent of McNabb's injury. The IR designation will keep McNabb out of action for at least seven days.

Coach Darryl Sutter indicated Sunday that McNabb, who exited Saturday's game with an arm injury, is wearing an arm sling and will be reevaluated in Chicago on Sunday, Lisa Dillman of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
The extent of McNabb's injury remains unclear at this point, but it will likely cost him at least Sunday's game in addition to Saturday. More information should arrive following his evaluation, but his status shouldn't concern many in fantasy leagues given his lack of offensive production, but he had seen an increase in ice time early this season.

McNabb left Saturday's game against the Blues with an upper-body injury and will not return, Lisa Dillman of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's unclear how McNabb sustained the ailment but it seems likely that he'll be day-to-day. Prior to exiting the contest, the 25-year-old blueliner picked up a hit and two blocked shots in 13:56 of ice time.

The Kings signed McNabb to a two-year contract extension Saturday. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
EDGE Analysis
McNabb has decent passing skills from the blue line, but he's primarily a defensive specialist. A 25-year-old who has yet to appear in 200 NHL games, McNabb has posted a plus-11 rating in each of the past two seasons, showing maturity beyond his years.
