Dubinsky collected 16 points (six goals, 10 assists) in 62 games during 2017-18, averaging 15:21 of ice time.
EDGE Analysis
The 16 points were Dubinsky's lowest of his career, as he'd never posted less than 20 before -- and that came in just a 29 game season in 2012-13. Dubinsky's ice time also dropped to 15:21 from 17:54 a season ago, and for the first time in his career he didn't have a power play presence. In fairness, Dubinsky was tasked a much more defensive role starting 63 percent of his shifts in the defensive zone, but his start rates the last four seasons hovered around 53-to-58 percent, so it isn't a gigantic difference from the past. With three years left on his contract, Dubinsky will return to Columbus for 2018-19, likely reprising a defensive role.

Dubinsky (illness) is expected to return to the lineup for Saturday's game against the Canucks.
EDGE Analysis
Dubinsky left Thursday's game against the Flames in the second period due to an illness, but he's evidently feeling better ahead of Saturday's contest. The 31-year-old pivot, who's notched five goals and 15 points in 58 games this campaign, will skate in a bottom-six role against Vancouver.

Dubinsky won't return to Thursday's game against the Flames due to an illness, Aaron Portzline of The Athletic Cleveland reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's a little strange to see a player exiting a game due to an illness rather than an injury, but it appears as though Dubinsky must have started to feel unwell midway through Thursday's contest. The 31-year-old pivot, who's totaled five goals and 15 points in 57 games this campaign, will likely be reevaluated ahead of Saturday's matchup with the Canucks.

Dubinsky will draw back into the lineup in place of Lukas Sedlak (head) for Saturday's home game against the Blues, Aaron Portzline of The Athletic Cleveland reports.
EDGE Analysis
Sedlak was hit behind the ear by a puck in the third period of Thursday's win over the Panthers and will be out indefinitely. Dubinsky had been a healthy scratch the last two games and has a 17-game pointless streak hanging around his neck, and a likely assignment on the fourth line won't give him many opportunities to get back on the scoresheet.

Dubinsky will be scratched from Tuesday's lineup against the Rangers, George Richards of The Columbus Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Blue Jackets have won eight games in a row with no help from Dubinsky offensively. In fact, he's been held off the scoresheet for 17 straight outings to the detriment of his fantasy owners. It's safe to bench the Alaskan in all formats until he shows signs of turning it around.

Dubinsky scored a goal on two shots, adding five hits, two blocked shots and a minus-1 rating in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Capitals.
EDGE Analysis
It's his first goal, and first point, in four games since returning to the lineup from an orbital injury. Dubinsky had a brutal start to the year, managing only four goals and 13 points through 35 games so far, but his willingness to get physical since getting back on the ice -- he has 15 hits in those four games -- bodes well for his chances of finding a groove before the regular season is through.

Dubinsky recorded a plus-1 rating and registered three body checks through 14:57 of ice time during Tuesday's 3-2 shootout loss to Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran center was actually initially credited with Columbus' first goal of the game, but upon review, it was determined he didn't deflect defenseman David Savard's shot. Dubinsky missed the previous 18 games with an orbital injury, and he now has just three goals and nine assists through 32 contests for the campaign. As a result, he's off the fantasy radar in the majority of settings until proven otherwise.

Per coach John Tortorella, Dubinsky (orbital) will return to the lineup for Tuesday night's contest against the Wild, Steve Gorten of the Columbus Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dubinsky makes his long-awaited return to action after an 18-game absence that began all the way back in mid-December. The Alaska native figures to return to his normal top-six role that does not include time with the power-play unit, and with just 12 points in 31 games thus far, he is not much of an offensive threat.

Dubinsky (orbital) says that he expects to play Tuesday against the Wild, and if doesn't play Tuesday he will "1,000 percent" play Friday against the Sharks, Steve Gorten of the Columbus Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dubinsky has missed 18 games with this nasty injury. While you definitely want to keep an eye on his status for Tuesday, because the fact he wants to play doesn't guarantee he will play, if you've been holding out for the 31-year-old's return then you shouldn't have to wait beyond Friday.

Dubinsky (eye) returned to Columbus this week for medical advice according to his agent Kurt Overhardt, denying reports that his departure from the team on their current road trip was due to disciplinary reasons, The Columbus Dispatch reports. "There is no disciplinary action, so that's completely wrong," Overhardt said Wednesday. "The player is not in trouble with the club. ... You guys will see him next week whenever (the Jackets) report back (from the All-Star break)."
EDGE Analysis
The veteran has missed 17 games so far with the injury and will miss at least one more Thursday, but he could be back in the lineup as soon as next Tuesday. Dubinsky has been wearing a visor in practice, something he's never done in his career, so don't be surprised if he needs an adjustment period once he's returned to action.
