His playoff experience with the Lightning was a big part of the Flames' decision to sign him last summer, and he stepped up big in the first Battle of Alberta in the postseason since 1991. Coleman has three points, 24 shots, 20 hits, eight PIM and a plus-5 rating through eight contests.

Still, it's hard to expect much offensive consistency from Coleman in his limited role, as he's relied on more for his physical presence on Calgary's third line.

Coleman tipped in a Noah Hanifin shot just 3:55 into the game. During his 13-game goal drought, Coleman mustered just one assist with 26 shots and 18 hits. The physical forward has provided somewhat limited offense with 30 points, 197 shots, 138 hits and a plus-15 rating in 71 contests. His 7.1 shooting percentage is the lowest of his career in a full season, which explains some of his struggles.
