Pouliot (foot) is not ready to to the lineup for Monday's game against the Devils, Pouliot has been nearing a return from his foot injury suffered last week, but he was already considered doubtful to return for Monday's contest so this news just confirms the earlier report. His next chance to come back will be Tuesday's contest against the Islanders.

Pouliot (foot) is considered doubtful for Monday's game against the Devils, Oilers' play-by-play announcer Jack Michaels reports. Pouliot is reportedly closing in on a return, but Monday isn't expected to be the day. He hasn't officially been ruled out, however, so there is still a slight chance he does return. If not, Pouliot's next opportunity will come Tuesday against the Islanders.

Pouliot (foot) is considered "highly unlikely" to play Saturday against the Maple Leafs, Jack Michaels of the Oilers Radio Network reports. Pouliot was absent from Friday's practice, so barring dramatic progress overnight, he'll miss a second straight game. Coach Todd Nelson indicated that Pouliot is viewed as day-to-day at this time, so there's optimism he might be able to return at some point next week.

Pouliot (foot) is not practicing Friday, Rob Tychkowski of the Edmonton Sun reports. Pouliot suffered a foot injury Monday, and then missed Wednesday's game against the Penguins. Both he and Taylor Hall (foot) are uncertain for Saturday's game in Toronto.

Pouliot (foot) wasn't on the ice for morning skate and appears to be out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Penguins, Jack Michaels of the Oilers Radio Network reports. Pouliot hasn't been cleared to skate since leaving Monday's game against the Sharks with a foot injury, so he'll more than likely join Taylor Hall in the press box for Wednesday's contest. The Oilers recalled Iiro Pakarinen from AHL Oklahoma City to assume Pouliot's lineup spot.

Pouliot suffered a foot injury during Monday's game against the Sharks and will not return. Pouliot should be considered day-to-day until further news is released on the severity of his injury. Looking ahead, he'll likely be a game-time decision for Wednesday's contest against the Penguins.

For the second consecutive game, Pouliot accounted for the only two goals the Oilers managed to score, as he potted one shorthanded and one on the power play in Thursday's loss to Tampa Bay. Benny's now on a four-game goal-scoring streak, offering a rare bright spot for the miserable Oilers. It's not often that you see a guy score all four of a team's goals over a two-game span, so you have to wonder where the rest of the Edmonton offense is hiding.

Pouliot was the whole of the Edmonton offense Tuesday, scoring both the team's goals (one on the power play) in a 4-2 loss to the Blues. He also racked up six penalty minutes and three hits. Hey, that's three straight games with a marker for Pouliot, who's tallied four of the Oilers' last nine goals. Still, he's a low-end fantasy option, as his offensive production is hovering right in the neighborhood of last year's 36-point campaign with the Rangers, while his hit and PIM production -- Tuesday aside -- has declined.

Pouliot netted his sixth goal of the season in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Panthers. After missing a month with a foot injury, Pouliot now has three goals on just six shots in his five games back. That rate of scoring will come down, but the 28-year-old should be able to challenge the 30-point mark if he stays healthy for the remainder of the season.

Pouliot (foot) tallied a goal in his return to action Friday against the Avalanche. Making his first appearance since Nov. 21 after recovering from a fractured foot, Pouliot immediately stepped into a top-six role and provided dividends right away. Though he was able to provide an impact in his first game back, Pouliot's outlook still remains rather dim for an Oilers squad that has largely failed to establish any sort of sustained continuity offensively this season.
