Bishop (knee) is feeling healthy and appears ready for the start of training camp, Sean Shapiro of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
After being limited to 39 games in 2016-17, Bishop, 31, appeared in 53 contests a season ago before suffering a left knee injury. Two consecutive campaigns cut short by injury have some referring to the 6-foot-7 netminder as "injury prone". When healthy, Bishop has the potential to be a star. He's finished top-10 in games played, wins, and shutouts on three separate occasions in his career, and posted top-10 marks in both save percentage and goals against average twice. All signs point to Bishop being fully healthy heading into training camp so fantasy owners can expect a big year from the larger-than-life goaltender.

As expected, Bishop (lower body) didn't travel for a three-game road trip and will officially be out for the rest of the season, Sean Shapiro of The Athletic Dallas-Ft. Worth reports.
EDGE Analysis
A recent report on Bishop implied that he'd miss the final three games of the regular season, and now that's been corroborated since he did, in fact, miss the charter to San Jose to kick off the trip. The American netminder finishes with a 26-17-5 record to supplement a 2.49 GAA and .916 save percentage; those figures were slightly weaker than his career average between the Blues, Senators, Lightning and Kings. Barring a setback, he'll open the 2018-19 campaign as the starting netminder for the Stars -- it'll be the Kari Lehtonen show for the rest of this season.

Bishop (lower body) will not travel with the Stars on their road trip, Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Considering that the Stars have the rest of their games on this aforementioned road trip, that means Bishop is done for the regular season. If you've been holding onto him on your fantasy team, you can let him go.

Bishop (lower body) skated Wednesday, but he's not close to returning, Mark Stepneski of the Stars' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
This information was relayed from head coach Ken Hitchcock. With the Stars' chances of making the playoffs reduced to a fractional value, it doesn't look like Bishop will be able to return for any of the five remaining games, but we're only speculating in that regard and it'll probably be worth hanging onto Bishop in redraft leagues with hopes that he can make a miraculous turnaround with his recovery.

Bishop (lower body) has yet to resume skating and won't be reevaluated until April 1, Mike Heika of The Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bishop continues to nurse a left knee injury that has plagued him this season and the Stars will give him ample time to recover from the issue to ensure there are no long-term effects. With the team clinging to playoff hopes, Kari Lehtonen will continue to hold down the crease in his absence. Mike McKenna is also on the roster as a backup option, but Lehtonen will likely see most of the starts unless the Stars are officially eliminated.

Bishop has reinjured his left knee, Mike Heika of The Dallas Morning News reports, adding that a timeline for the veteran goalie should be available Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Bishop originally injured that knee March 5 against the Senators, and it caused him to miss five straight games. This puts the Stars in a particularly precarious spot, as they face slightly higher than 50-50 odds of making it to the playoffs. Now, Dallas has to rely on Lehtonen, whose pedestrian numbers caused GM Jim Nill to go after Bishop with a six-year, $29.5 million deal in the offseason. Unfortunately, we wouldn't expect Bishop to return until the beginning of April at the earliest.

Bishop (lower-body) will be re-evaluated by the medical staff in two-weeks, Mike Heika of The Dallas Morning News.
EDGE Analysis
Although it's unclear if this is the same injury that cost Bishop five games already in March, he'll regardless be shut down for the near future. If Bishop is able to return when he's re-evaluated, he'd be able to start for the Stars' last three regular season games, but with repeated injuries within a month, they'll likely use caution with their starting net minder's recovery. Kari Lehtonen should take over the workload while Bishop is out, and a back-up will likely be recalled from AHL Texas shortly.

Bishop left Sunday's game against Winnipeg with an apparent lower-body injury, and won't return.
EDGE Analysis
The injury happened as Bishop made a fantastic glove save on a one-timer across the crease, and he appeared to pull something as he moved side-to-side. The team should update his status before Tuesday's tilt against Washington, and if he's unable to go, Kari Lehtonen should take over the starting duties.

Bishop will stop pucks against the Jets on Sunday, Mike Heika of The Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bishop has lost both starts against Winnipeg this season, yielding seven goals and a .863 save percentage. The veteran netminder will struggle to notch a win Sunday if recent offensive support continues -- Dallas has scored more than two goals just once in the last seven outings. Therefore, Bishop isn't a top option at this time, but his .916 save percentage this season proves he'll be serviceable in most instances.

Bishop made 22 saves on 25 shots in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Senators on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Bishop didn't look great in this one, but that can be forgiven given that he was returning from a five-game absence due to a knee injury. He has a 2.50 GAA and a .916 save percentage on the season, and the Stars will need him to find that form soon as they fight for a playoff spot.
