Goodrow ended a 10-game point drought with the unexpected three-point effort. The 32-year-old has filled a fourth-line role virtually all season, and he's not known for racking up a lot of offense in short spans. He's produced six points this year, along with 29 shots on net, 50 hits, 26 blocked shots, 14 PIM and a minus-8 rating across 34 appearances.

Goodrow tallied a goal, blocked two shots and dished out two hits in Saturday's 3-2 loss to Ottawa.

Goodrow found the back of the net for the first time this season midway through the second period to give the Sharks an early 2-1 lead. With the goal, the 32-year-old winger is up to two points, 18 shots on net, 33 hits and 16 blocks through 22 games this season. He should continue to see consistent minutes on the fourth line with Jeff Skinner (lower-body) on IR.

Goodrow posted an assist in Sunday's 6-5 overtime win over the Wild.

The helper was Goodrow's first point in nine games this season. He saw a season-low 8:57 of ice time and has been below the 10-minute mark in three of the last four contests as the Sharks lean more on their top forwards. Goodrow has racked up eight shots on net, 14 hits, nine blocked shots and a minus-2 rating. He's a safe bet to stay in the lineup due to his defensive play, but he won't be a strong source of scoring.

Goodrow had a fighting major and two hits in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Blackhawks.

Goodrow's point drought reached 12 games, but he had a fight for the second game in a row. He came to the defense of Macklin Celebrini, dropping the mitts with Jason Dickinson after the Chicago forward's cross-checking penalty in the second period. Goodrow is a good teammate and does a lot of the dirty work for a fairly young team. However, his fourth-line role has left him with just eight points and a minus-31 rating to go with 64 PIM, 62 shots on net, 130 hits and 47 blocked shots over 62 appearances this season in his second stint with the Sharks.

Goodrow provided an assist and two PIM in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Canadiens.

Goodrow figures to continue playing a bottom-six role with limited chances for offense, so he doesn't need to be rostered in most fantasy formats.

While he was on the top line officially in Friday's game, he still saw just 13:48 of ice time, in line with his usual bottom-six usage.
