Raanta will guard the home goal in Wednesday's matchup against the Ducks, Craig Morgan of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Coyotes have switched off between Raanta and Darcy Kuemper over the last eight contests, so they'll go back to what's been working. Raanta has been superb during that stretch with a 3-1-0 record, .944 save percentage and a shutout. The Finnish netminder garners a favorable matchup, as the Ducks rank 25th in the league with a 47.23 Corsi For percentage this year.

Raanta made 43 saves in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
The saves tied his season high, as Raanta stood tall against constant pressure -- the Kings fired at least 13 shots at him in every period. He's won three of his last four starts, and on the year the netminder has a 2.62 GAA and impressive .926 save percentage, numbers which have allowed him to work his way into a timeshare with Darcy Kuemper over the last two weeks.

Raanta will patrol the crease during Saturday's road clash with the Kings, Craig Morgan of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Raanta was unbeatable in his last start Monday against L.A., turning aside all 31 shots he faced en route to his second home victory and first shutout of the season. The Kings have been much better at home than on the road this year, owning a 7-4-0 record in contests played at the Staples Center as opposed to the 2-8-1 record they've compiled in games away from home, so Raanta and the Coyotes may not fare as well Saturday even though they'll be taking on the same opponent.

Raanta posted a 30-save shutout in Monday's 3-0 win over the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Raanta had his best game of the year in this one -- he'd allowed at least two goals in each of his previous seven starts. The shutout is the 12th of his career. Raanta improved to 4-2-2 with a 2.69 GAA and a .921 save percentage this season. Expect the Finn to get his next start over the weekend -- either against these same Kings on Saturday or versus the Oilers on Sunday.

Raanta will get the starting nod at home versus Los Angeles on Monday, Craig Morgan of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Raanta has given up three or more goals in each of his previous five appearances while posting a 2-2-1 record and .907 save percentage. The Finnish netminder has played his way into a goalie split recently alongside Darcy Kuemper, but should be considered a long shot to take over the No. 1 job at any point this season. If the 30-year-old continues to perform well heading into the deadline, the Coyotes could start receiving trade inquiries from the 30 teams.

Raanta allowed three goals on 34 shots in a 3-2 loss to Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
Raanta was victimized for two goals over the final 20 minutes, while Arizona only managed to get one by Devan Dubnyk. The loss moves Raanta's record on the year to 3-2-0, and he'll likely give way to Darcy Kuemper on Saturday when the Coyotes hit the road to battle the Flames in Calgary.

Raanta will defend the blue paint during Saturday's road matchup with Minnesota, Craig Morgan of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Raanta played well in his last start Monday against Washington, stopping 31 of 34 shots en route to an impressive shootout victory on the road over the top team in the NHL. The 30-year-old Finn will look to keep rolling in a road matchup with a Wild team that's averaging 3.80 goals per game at home this campaign, eighth in the NHL.

Raanta made 31 saves in Monday's 4-3 shootout win over the Capitals.
EDGE Analysis
Arizona grabbed a 3-0 lead inside the first minute of the second period, but Washington cranked up the pressure after that and Raanta had to make some big stops just to get the game to overtime -- and get some luck afterwards, as what looked like an OT winner by T.J. Oshie was ruled to have been offside. He then turned aside both Caps shootout attempts to secure the win. The 30-year-old is 3-1-2 through six starts with a 3.06 GAA and .912 save percentage, taking a clear back seat to Darcy Kuemper in net for the Coyotes so far.

Raanta will guard the road cage in Monday's game against the Capitals, Craig Morgan of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Coyotes will take the ice Monday and Tuesday, so Raanta will take the first start. The 30-year-old has yielded at least three goals in four of five outings, but his .912 save percentage is respectable, although it falls well short of Darcy Kuemper's .930 mark. The Caps are on a tear right now with six straight wins and 10 in their last 11 outings, and they pace the league with 4.06 goals per game.

Wed 11/6/19 12:22 AM

Raanta stopped 39 of 43 shots in a 4-3 overtime loss to the Flames on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
With 3:30 remaining in the third period, Raanta had a 3-1 lead to protect, but he allowed Matthew Tkachuk and Mark Giordano to even the score. Raanta was victimized by Tkachuk again in overtime to complete the collapse. The Finnish goalie dropped to 2-1-2 with a 3.12 GAA and a .912 save percentage in five starts. He's not performing as well as Darcy Kuemper, which means Raanta will likely find himself by the bench door more often than he's in the crease.
