Raanta will guard the road cage versus Arizona on Monday, Chip Alexander of The Raleigh News & Observer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Raanta has been inconsistent throughout the season, as he is 12-5-4 with two shutouts and a 2.44 GAA in 24 outings. The 32-year-old Finn spent four seasons with the Coyotes in which he logged 104 games (101 starts) and a .921 save percentage but struggled to stay healthy. With Frederik Andersen (undisclosed) set to miss at least a week, Raanta will have to carry the load heading into the postseason.

Raanta made four saves in relief of the injured Frederik Andersen (undisclosed) in Saturday's 7-4 loss to the Avalanche.
EDGE Analysis
Andersen gave up seven goals before suffering an injury in the third period. Raanta came in for mop-up duty and will likely start when the Hurricanes next take the ice for Monday's favorable matchup in Arizona, though that assignment has yet to be confirmed.

Raanta allowed three goals on 22 shots in Thursday's 3-0 loss to Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
The Red Wings didn't generate a ton of chances, posting just 22 shots. Raanta held them scoreless for the better part of two periods but allowed a goal late in the second period before allowing a pair in the third en route to the 3-0 loss. In his last three starts, the 32-year-old netminder has allowed 10 goals on 75 shots. Raanta will likely remain behind Frederik Andersen on Carolina's depth chart.

Raanta is on track to start between the pipes in Thursday's home game versus the Red Wings.
EDGE Analysis
Raanta wasn't great in his last start last Thursday against Buffalo, surrendering three goals on just 21 shots, but he was still able to come away with a win thanks to strong goal support from his teammates. He'll try to secure a second straight victory in a favorable home matchup with a Detroit team that's 10-21-3 on the road this year.

Raanta (undisclosed) will back up Frederik Andersen against the Ducks on Sunday, per the NHL's media site.
EDGE Analysis
Raanta missed Sunday's morning skate for an unknown reason but he's at least healthy enough to dress Sunday. Look for the 32-year-old to get back into game action in the near future.

Raanta "did not feel good" and was held out of Sunday's morning skate, Chip Alexander of The Raleigh News & Observer reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's unclear what exactly is ailing Raanta, but he is not 100 percent. He could still be available Sunday -- and could possibly still start -- but as things stand Frederik Andersen will likely be in goal when the puck is dropped.

Raanta made 18 saves in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Sabres.
EDGE Analysis
Raanta wasn't his sharpest, allowing Buffalo to take a 2-0 lead just 6:25 in, but the Hurricanes dominated after that point and limited the chances against the Finnish netminder. Raanta improved his record to 12-4-4, and he boasts a solid 2.42 GAA and .914 save percentage to boot.

Raanta will be stationed between the pipes for Thursday's road game against Buffalo.
EDGE Analysis
Raanta will start the first half of Carolina's back-to-back set against the Sabres and the Islanders. The 32-year-old is 11-4-4 with a 2.39 GAA through 21 games this season. However, he's lost three of his last four outings dating back to March 13. He defeated the Sabres on Dec. 4 after allowing just two goals on 34 shots.

Raanta stopped 28 of 32 shots in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Lightning.
EDGE Analysis
This one will sting considering the Hurricanes blew three separate one-goal leads, but Raanta's hardly to blame for the loss considering the Lightning finished with a 32-19 edge in shots. Three of the four goals against Raanta came on the power play, including Steven Stamkos' overtime winner. The Finn's record dropped to 11-4-4.

Raanta will get the starting nod in Tampa Bay on Tuesday, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Frederik Andersen stopped 25 shots in a blowout win over Washington on Monday, so Raanta will see some action for the second half of the back-to-back. The veteran netminder is 11-4-3 with a 2.31 GAA and a .919 save percentage through 20 games this season. He's 4-1-1 over his last six outings with a terrific .940 save percentage.
