It's been a disappointing campaign for him, particularly in terms of wins -- Niemi's save percentage is identical to last year's (.913) and he has exactly as many regulation losses (17) and OT losses (seven) as he did last year, but with just 25 wins on the season, he has next to no chance to match last year's 39.
