Andrei Kostitsyn's one-game suspension has been lifted for violating a team rule, but it isn't clear if he will be back in the fold for Friday's Game 4 match-up against Phoenix. He skated alongside Alexander Radulov and Craig Smith, who were both scratches from the lineup in Game 3, during Thursday's practice. Coach Barry Trotz may decide to keep his winning group together rather than put Kostitsyn and/or Radulov back into the lineup.

Andrei Kostitsyn has been suspended for Wednesday's Game 3 at home against the Coyotes. The team indicated Kostitsyn and Alexander Radulov were in violation of team rules. Kostitsyn is tied with Gabriel Bourque with a team-high 3 goals in these playoffs.

Andrei Kostitsyn scored a goal in Nashville's 5-3 loss on Sunday. Kostitsyn has three goals and four points in seven playoff games. For the most part, Kostitsyn seems to have responded well to the change of scenery. He was acquired from the Montreal Canadiens at the trade deadline. Kostitsyn is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent this summer, but we wouldn't be surprised if Nashville locks him up before he hits the open market.

Andrei Kostitsyn netted two power-play goals in the Nashville Predators' 3-2 win over the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday night. Some brotherly love for the Kostityns as Sergei had two of the primary assists on Andrei's markers, which amounted to his 15th. Andrei has taken to the change of scenery very nicely, as he has three goals and six points since being traded from the Montreal Canadiens. Patric Hornqvist had the other goal, his 21st. David Legwand had three assists to give him 44 points on the year.

It appears that Andrei Kostisyn and David Legwand are developing some chemistry. The elder Kostitsyn set up Legwand for a goal and Legwand returned the favour in the Preds' 3-1 win over Florida Saturday night. Legwand was particularly impressed with Kostitsyn's abilities and had this to say: "He has an offensive mind for the game and reads the play excellent. That's a huge thing for us." Keep an eye on these two going forward to see if the magic they showed Saturday is for real.

Andrei Kostitsyn made his Predators' debut on Tuesday. Kostitsyn had no points and two penalty minutes in 12:13 minutes of playing time. He's struggled this season, but the Predators are hoping that they can turn his career around, like they did for his younger brother Sergei Kostitsyn. That being said, with only about a month left in the season, we aren't sure how much of an impact Nashville can really have on Andrei. It's also worth point out that if 12:13 minutes of playing time turns out to be the norm for him in Nashville, then there's very little chance of Andrei having any fantasy value in standard leagues.

The Nashville Predators have acquired Andrei Kostitsyn from the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for a 2013 second round pick and the return of the conditional pick the Predators got the Hal Gill deal. That's quite a lot to give up for Kostitsyn, given the season he's been having. There was a time when Andrei Kostitsyn was clearly the better of the two Kostitsyn brothers from a fantasy perspective. That hasn't been the case since Montreal shipped Andrei's younger brother, Sergei Kostitsyn to Nashville. Sergei broke out in 2009-10 with 50 points in 77 games and he has 35 points in 56 contests this season. Meanwhile, Andrei has just 24 points in 53 games in 2011-12. Maybe Nashville figures that they can revive another Kostitsyn's career, but the brothers don't have a history of playing well together in the NHL, so we don't see this trade providing either one with a big boost.

Andrei Kostitsyn is eligible to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1 so it is possible that the Montreal Canadiens are trying to deal the veteran sniper before Monday's NHL trade deadline. The Montreal Gazette also reports that the Habs will also let it be known that Chris Campoli and Mathieu Darche are available. So are Scott Gomez and Tomas Kaberle, the paper says, but their contracts make them impossible to move.

Andrei Kostitsyn logged a season-low 4:20 of ice time on Monday night against Carolina. He played only one shift in the third period, while much-maligned forward Scott Gomez saw two shifts in the final stanza and was on the ice for a grand total of 7:48 in Montreal's 5-3 defeat. Kostitsyn has endured an inconsistent year, while generating 12 goals and 12 assists in 47 games.
