Updating a previous report, Lindback will not start Friday against the Rangers, as the Sabres will stick with Michal Neuvirth in the net. With Neuvirth playing well since assuming No.1 goalie duties for the Sabres, he'll stick in the net for a fourth straight start. Lindback will likely have to wait until Neuvirth's performance takes a turn for the worse before he makes his Sabres debut.

Lindback will likely start Friday's game against the Rangers, The Buffalo News reports. There hasn't been any confirmation one way or the other, but it would make sense for Lindback to get his first start in a Sabres uniform, after Michael Neuvirth handled Thursday's game against Philadelphia. Neuvirth is still expected to handle most of the workload down the stretch.

The Sabres have acquired Lindback and a conditional third-round draft pick in exchange for Jhonas Enroth, sportsnet.ca reports.Lindback (2-8-0, 3.71 GAA, .875 save percentage) started just seven games for the Stars while backing up Kari Lehtonen, so the trade to Buffalo could result in more frequent playing time for him. That said, the Sabres are mired in last place in the NHL, having allowed a league-high 191 goals in the process, so there's not much fantasy upside to be gained by the move.

Lindback turned away only 21 of the 24 shots he faced to take the loss Saturday against the Sabres. As expected, the Stars controlled the pace of the game for much of the way and finished the night with a 40-24 shot advantage, but Lindback was simply outdueled by Buffalo goalie Jhonas Enroth. A matchup against the league's worst team is about as favorable as it gets for a lightly-used backup, and Lindback still couldn't come through for the Stars. Given that he now sports a 2-8-0 record and 3.71 GAA over his 10 appearances this season, Lindback can barely be trusted as even a streaming option in deeper leagues at this time.

Lindback was the first goalie off the ice at morning skate and is thus in line to start Saturday against the Sabres, Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News reports. The Stars will save Kari Lehtonen for the tougher matchup Sunday against the Rangers, hoping that Lindback will be good enough to best a Sabres squad that has dropped 15 of its last 16 games. Lindback has submitted a horrendous 3.79 GAA and .875 save percentage over nine outings this season, but makes for a good streaming option Saturday for those gunning for a cheap goalie win.

Lindback is being recalled from his AHL conditioning assignment, and he is expected to start a game this weekend, NHL.com's Mark Stepneski reports. Lindback got some work with AHL Texas, and he'll now look to turn around his season, starting either Saturday in Buffalo or Sunday in New York. It would make sense for the Stars to save Kari Lehtonen for Sunday, but coach Lindy Ruff did not specify which game Lindback will start. Jussi Rynnas may be head back to the AHL soon.

Lindback is headed to the AHL for a conditioning assignment, the Stars' official website reports. The owner of a 2-7-0 record, .875 save percentage and 3.79 GAA, Lindback has quite obviously struggled this season. He'll get some work in the AHL while Jussi Rynnas serves as Kari Lehtonen's backup.

Lindback turned in a respectable 20 saves on 22 shots Thursday against the Jets, but was stuck with a 2-1 loss. Wins have been hard to come by for Lindback, who actually has more regulation losses (seven) than starts (six) this season. If you have him in fantasy, it's only because every goaltender in the NHL is owned in your league.

Lindback will start between the pipes against the Jets on Thursday, Mark Stepneski of the Stars' official site reports. Lindback was the first goalie off the ice for Thursday morning's skate, making him the presumed goalie against the Jets. That is indeed the case, as he led the Stars onto the ice for warmups.

Lindback was the first goalie off the ice at the Stars' morning skate, which puts him on track to start Thursday's game against the Jets, Mark Stepneski of the Stars' official site reports. Lindback is in line to draw Thursday's assignment, on the heels of taking over from from Kari Lehtonen, with the Stars down 2-0 midway through the first period of Tuesday's 5-4 win over Ottawa.
