Lindback (achilles) is expected to miss the remainder of the season, Craig Morgan of the Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coyotes' general manager Don Maloney indicated Lindback suffered an achilles tendon injury that will likely require surgery. The club hasn't released a precise timetable, but going under the knife would effectively end the 27-year-old's season and could potentially impact his availability for the beginning of next year. Fellow goalie Mike Smith (lower body) also remains "a long ways" from a return, according to coach Dave Tippett, so the team will be left with Louis Domingue and recent call-up Niklas Treutle in net for the time being.

Lindback (undisclosed) will undergo further medical tests Tuesday, but coach Dave Tippett noted Monday that he believes the injury is "fairly serious," Sarah McLellan of The Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lindback suffered the undisclosed injury while off the ice Monday and the organization has yet to divulge specifics. Obviously Tippett's remarks don't bode well for Lindback seeing the ice over the next few games, which means Arizona will need to promote a goalie from AHL to serve as primary backup to Louis Domingue while Lindback recovers.

Lindback sustained an "off-ice" injury before warmups Monday and will not play against Montreal.
EDGE Analysis
Lindback was set to back up Louis Domingue in net on Monday prior to the injury, a role which will now be filled by Nathan Schoenfeld. Lindback can be considered day-to-day until more information becomes available. The 27-year-old Swedish netminder's next chance to return will come Thursday when Arizona hosts Dallas. Lindback has taken a loss in his previous five appearances, so he hasn't been providing fantasy owners with a ton of value lately.

Lindback stopped 36 of 41 shots in Friday's loss to the Ducks.
EDGE Analysis
It was a decent showing from the 27-year-old, but the Coyotes were no match for a surging Anaheim team that has now won six straight games. Lindback falls to 13-5-7 on the season with a .894 save percentage. Lindback doesn't see the crease very often and even when he does get the call, the fact he's managed just two wins in his last eight appearances doesn't bode too well for his fantasy value.

Lindback will take shots from the Ducks as the road starter Friday night.
EDGE Analysis
Lindback's starts have been few and far between as rookie Louis Domingue was given the nod in each of the past seven games. However, the latter netminder has allowed 15 scores over the last three, so it makes sense that Lindback will work between the pipes Friday. The Ducks have rattled off five straight wins and have just one more point than the Coyotes in the Pacific Division, so this promises to be an intense matchup for Lindback and his fellow Desert Dogs.

Lindback stopped nine of 10 shots on goal against Los Angeles on Tuesday after starter Louis Domingue was pulled.
EDGE Analysis
Lindback has been called upon in relief in back-to-back outings and allowed just one goal on 22 shots in those late night appearances. However, the 27-year-old has completed just two games from start to finish since mid-December, as he was yanked twice over that span. The only certainty in net for Arizona is that Mike Smith (lower body) can't get healthy soon enough.

Lindback turned aside 12 shots he faced after coming on in relief for Louis Domingue in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to Winnipeg.
EDGE Analysis
Lindback returned for the first timed since Jan. 16, starting the third period for the Yotes. Though he did not surrender a goal, do not expect the Swedish netminder to steal the starting spot from Domingue, due to the fact that he has surrendered at least three goals eight times through 17 starts. Expect Lindback to continue serving as backup to Domingue, unless of course Domingue keeps up the poor performances.

Lindback gave up two goals on just 16 shots in a 2-0 loss to New Jersey on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Making his first start since Dec. 29, Lindback wasn't exactly busy in this one, so the pair of goals against are definitely disappointing. He didn't receive any offensive support in front of him though, dropping his record to 5-6-1 with absolutely atrocious numbers (.892 save percentage, 3.04 GAA). Lindback has taken a back seat to Louis Domingue with veteran starter Mike Smith (lower body) sidelined, and with some of the worth numbers around, makes for one of the least attractive options between the pipes -- regardless of who his opponent might be.

Lindback has been named the starter for Saturday afternoon's home contest against the Devils, Sarah McLellan of the Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
This will be the first start of 2016 for Lindback, who owns an unsightly 3.11 GAA and .893 save percentage through 15 games. The good news is that New Jersey is not exactly a formidable opponent with a minus-11 goal differential and league-low 24.6 shots per game.

Lindback was yanked from Tuesday's loss to the Coyotes after giving up three goals on five shots.
EDGE Analysis
A brutal showing from Lindback, who wasn't credited with the loss Tuesday as the Coyotes were able to claw back and score five goals, leading to a defeat for his teammate Louis Domingue. The 27-year-old owns a 5-5-1 record with a .893 save percentage on the season, so even when he does get that rare start, we don't recommend starting the 6'6" netminder in fantasy.
