Lindback (achilles) is expected to miss the remainder of the season, Craig Morgan of the Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coyotes' general manager Don Maloney indicated Lindback suffered an achilles tendon injury that will likely require surgery. The club hasn't released a precise timetable, but going under the knife would effectively end the 27-year-old's season and could potentially impact his availability for the beginning of next year. Fellow goalie Mike Smith (lower body) also remains "a long ways" from a return, according to coach Dave Tippett, so the team will be left with Louis Domingue and recent call-up Niklas Treutle in net for the time being.
