Anders Lindback (ankle) has been sent to the minors on a conditioning stint. Lindback has only played in one game since January 13. This has been a disastrous season for him, as illustrated by his 3.23 GAA and .880 save percentage in 18 games.

Anders Lindback (ankle) expects to be available to return for Thursday's game in Nashville next week. Kristers Gudlevskis, who starred for Latvia against Canada on Wednesday, will stick around with the Lightning as insurance just in case Lindback isn't ready. He missed four games going into the break with a sprained ankle.

Anders Lindback has a sprained left ankle. Lindback will not be available on Saturday as a result. The timing is particularly unfortunate because goaltender Ben Bishop is simultaneously recovering from a head injury.

Anders Lindback struggled in place of an injured Ben Bishop Thursday night as the Lightning dropped a 5-3 decision to Ottawa. Bishop was injured after allowing a goal on the game's first shot and was replaced by Lindback, who permitted four goals on 27 shots. Lindback's record is now 5-11-1 while his GAA is 3.23 and his save percentage is .880.

Anders Lindback was on the losing end of a 3-2 decision against the Blue Jackets on Monday. Lindback allowed three goals on 28 shots in the defeat, including two third period markers that saw Tampa Bay blow a 2-1 lead. With a 2-3-0 record in Ben Bishop's absence, the Swedish goalkeeper has proven unable to hold a starter's workload in the NHL.

Anders Lindback turned aside 35 shots in a 6-3 win against Philadelphia Saturday afternoon. He has a 5-9-1 record this season to go with an .881 save percentage and a 3.17 goals-against average. He's trying to hold the fort while Ben Bishop recovers from injury and more efforts like this should help his confidence.

Anders Lindback, who will start in place of the injured Ben Bishop, is trying to remain confident despite some pretty horrific results this season. Lindback sports a 4-9-1 record with a 3.18 goals-against average and an .877 save percentage, which are bottom of the league-type numbers. And in three starts since Bishop has been out of action, he is 1-2 with an .831 save percentage. Despite these poor results, Lindback still believes in himself. "From my perspective, yeah, I'm confident in myself,' Lindback said. "I don't feel like I go out there doubting myself at all." Well we doubt you a bit. Bishop is recovering from a sprained wrist and could be ready for action next week. We say, take a pass on Lindback.

Anders Lindback will be Tampa Bay's starter on Saturday. Lindback is getting a third straight start despite allowing four goals on 20 shots against Washington on Thursday. Ben Bishop is dealing with a sprained right wrist, so Lindback's tenure as the team's number one goaltender is temporary.
