Burrows (undisclosed) isn't expected to play Saturday against the Maple Leafs, Jeff Paterson of TSN 1040 reports. The Canucks will be getting a number of players back from injury Saturday, so Burrows' absence shouldn't be missed too much. It remains unclear what exactly is ailing him, but he should be viewed as day-to-day until the Canucks provide word otherwise.

Burrows (undisclosed) is considered questionable for Saturday's game against the Maple Leafs, Elliott Pap of the Vancouver Sun reports. Burrows wasn't present at Friday's practice, with coach Willie Desjardins suggesting the forward was receiving "more of a maintenance day." While that would usually indicate Burrows isn't dealing with an injury, Desjardins was somewhat evasive when asked if Burrows would play Saturday. The Canucks are expected to get two of their injured forwards in Brad Richardson and Chris Higgins back in the lineup against the Maple Leafs, so it wouldn't be surprising if Burrows sat out to further recuperate. It's possible he still might be hurting from the groin injury he returned from last week.

Burrows (groin) was a full participant at the Canucks' morning skate and looks in line to play Thursday against the Coyotes, Jeff Paterson of TSN 1040 reports. Burrows resumed skating with the team Monday after first suffering the groin injury about two weeks ago. He skated as a member of the Canucks' second line and saw duty on the top power-play unit during Thursday's morning skate, a likely indicator that the team considers him fit to play. The winger has been about a half-point-per-game contributor when he's been healthy enough to suit up this season, notching 12 goals and 13 assists in 52 games.

Burrows is thriving on the top line with the Sedin twins, contributing two goals, four points and 12 shots on goal in his last five games.Radim Vrbata, who is on a seven-game point streak, has been dropped to the second line, meaning Burrows has been reunited with his old linemates on the top line. Burrows is also playing on the top power-play unit, so he's worth checking out in some deeper leagues. Knowing the way he's clicked with the twins in the past, if Burrows stays on the top line, he could be an underrated waiver wire add down the stretch.

Burrows had arguably his best game of the season Saturday, netting a game-winning power-play goal and adding an assist in a win over Pittsburgh. Burrows is thriving back on the top line with the Sedin twins, scoring twice in his last three games. The 33-year-old has recorded 12 goals in 46 games this season, including two game-winners. As the Canucks embark on their hunt for a playoff spot, Burrows could be worth looking at, as he's playing on the top line and is only three years removed from a 28-goal season.
