Alexander Sulzer has signed a five-year contract with the Cologne Sharks to play back home in Germany. The Kolner Haie play out of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. Sulzer was slated to be an unrestricted free agent in the summer. He spent the last three seasons with the Sabres and skated in 25 games during the 2013-14 campaign.
