Alexander Steen continued his ridiculous goal-scoring streak on Tuesday, giving himself 13 goals (and six assists) in 13 games.
Steen has a tally in 8 of 9 games, with nine tallies and two assists in that span. Obviously his puck luck will slow down (30.2 shooting percentage) at some point, but he could still have an outstanding season if he stays healthy.

Alexander Steen scored an NHL-leading 12th goal in St. Louis' 4-0 victory over Florida on Friday.
Steen earned the first star for the month of October and now his hot streak has bled into November. He has an unreal 12 goals in just 11 games. Chris Stewart netted his first goal and recorded his third assist of the 2013-14 campaign. Derek Roy and Alex Pietrangelo each found the back of the net for St. Louis. David Backes registered two assists, giving him 13 points in 11 contests.

Alexander Steen has been picked as the NHL's first star for the month of October.
Steen has managed to score an incredible 11 goals in just 10 games. For a guy that's never scored more than 24 goals in a single season, that's obviously quite a breakout and one that we obviously don't see as sustainable. In fact, he we regard him as a sell-high candidate given that he will likely never be regarded quite as highly as he currently is.

Alex Steen scored the game-winning goal in with one minute remaining in St. Louis' 3-2 win over Winnipeg Tuesday night.
Steen's 11 goals and 16 points through 10 games has to be one of the most surprising stories of the season so far. The 29 year-old has two points in each of his last three games and seven points in his last four.

Alexander Steen notched two goals for the Blues as they routed the Predators 6-1 on Saturday night.
Steen has been sensational this season, tied for the league lead with 10 goals and 15 points, good for third. Not to discount what he's done -- because he seems primed for a career year -- but Steen has never scored more than 24 goals in a season and he's firing on a 38.5 percent scoring clip, which certainly won't be sustained. Alex Pietrangelo, T.J. Oshie and Jaden Schwartz each recorded a goal and an assist. Derek Roy had the other Marker. Jay Bouwmeester and Vladimir Taresenko had two assists apiece.

Despite losing on Friday, St. Louis Blues winger Alexander Steen remains red-hot.
He scored his eight goal of the season and got a primary assist in another strong night of work. If Steen stays healthy, he could be a significant bargain in fantasy leagues.

Alexander Steen continues to find fantastic chemistry with David Backes and T.J. Oshie this season, as Steen scored two goals and made a big impact in the St. Louis Blues' 4-3 (SO) loss to the Winnipeg Jets on Friday.
Backes also scored a goal and an assist, so that red-hot line seems primed to be dangerous this season. Backes came into Friday's game with an unsustainably high shooting percentage (five goals on eight SOG for 62.5 percent), but he got his tally on six SOG tonight. There's little reason to believe that this trio will slow down anytime soon, unless Ken Hitchcock wants to spread around the offensive firepower more.
