Steen (lower body) will be in the lineup Thursday against the Islanders, NHL.com's Lou Korac reports. Steen returned to practice seemingly at full speed Wednesday and felt fine heading into Thursday, which was enough for the Blues to sign off on keeping him in the lineup. The winger, who missed the previous two games with the injury, has five goals and 16 points in 26 games, a significant decline from the per-game scoring numbers he posted in his breakout 2013-14.

Steen (lower body) returned to practice Wednesday, NHL.com's Lou Korac reports. Steen skated on the top trio with Patrik Berglund and T.J. Oshie, during the session, providing hope that he'll be available for Thursday's game against the Islanders. Expect the Blues to reveal an official ruling on his status for the game following their gameday morning skate.

Steen, who missed Saturday's game with a lower-body injury, is considered questionable for Monday's tilt with the Panthers, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. Steen was a surprise scratch with the injury Saturday afternoon and still appears to be at least slightly limited. The Blues will probably reassess his condition during Monday's morning skate before reaching a determination on his availability for later that evening.

Steen added a pair of helpers in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Jets. Steen's now at 14 points through 21 games. While he probably won't match last season's 62 point effort, he could still eclipse the 50 point mark. It's a little concerning that he only has four goals, especially after notching 33 last year, but those should come eventually.

Steen scored his fourth goal of the season Saturday in a win over the Senators. He was plus-1 and took seven shots in the contest. Steen broke a six-game goalless drought and is clearly finding it challenging to get his offensive game going. More goals are probably going to come as he is putting more than three shots per game on net.

Steen dished out a trio of power-play assists and racked up nine penalty minutes in Tuesday's 6-1 romp over Buffalo. Steen fought Tyler Ennis in the second period and took a double minor for roughing early in the third, but returned to notch the assists on the Blues' three game-sealing goals in the final four minutes of the third period.
