However, he still has to win over the fans of the city he bolted from after the 2007-08 campaign. Radulov was still under contract with the Predators when he decided to leave for Russia. "I'm happy to be back and excited to play the first game at home. It will be fun I think," Radulov said. "It's a good building to play because people love hockey here. "For all he has gone through the last 10-12 days, he hasn't skated a lot, I thought he was fine. He's polished. For a guy who hasn't played over here for four years, I thought he was OK. The game is a lot different here than it is in Europe. He's adjusting quite well."

However you read into it, there appears to be a degree of certainty with respect to the 25-year-old joining the club for the stretch drive and postseason.

He will become a restricted free agent and then it is up in the air as to what will happen as he could return to the KHL next season or see what happens to him in the NHL. In any case, the Predators get a stud scorer the rest of the season and in the playoffs. He is a must-get once he returns for the rest of the season in all formats as he can score.
