Lyon saved 25 of 27 shots during Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win against Montreal.
EDGE Analysis
After a strong 25-save win against the Rangers on Sunday, Lyon played well again Tuesday. The rookie's workload is likely to remain limited, though. Petr Mrazek projects to handle the bulk of starts moving forward, so Lyon is probably best viewed as a potential spot starter against favorable opponents for seasonal leagues and daily contests.

Lyon will be the starting goalie for Tuesday night's contest against the Canadiens, Bill Meltzer of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
As soon Petr Mrazek was dealt to Philadelphia on Monday, there was talk that the newly-acquired goalie could get the start Tuesday, but the turnaround time proved to be too severe and the incumbent goalie will get the start instead. Lyon looked solid in his first career winning effort, allowing just one goal on 26 shots, and he could be good for another nice showing against a struggling Montreal offense. The Minnesota native could receive starts here and there following the news that Michal Neuvirth (lower body) will miss 4-to-6 weeks, but the starting job almost certainly belongs to Mrazek for now.

Lyon allowed one goal on 26 shots in relief for Michal Neuvirth during a 7-4 victory over the Rangers on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Neuvirth allowed three goals on 14 shots in the first period, but he actually left because of an injury (lower body) and not due to his play. Lyon came on to lead the Flyers to a huge victory, which is his first at the NHL level. If Neuvirth is out for any length of time, Lyon should be claimed in all leagues, but keep in mind the Flyers will probably also try to add a goaltender before next week's trade deadline. Lyon has just four NHL appearances and can't be counted upon as a No. 1 goaltender down the stretch. Philadelphia's top goalie, Brian Elliott, is out until late March (lower body).

Lyon was called up from AHL Lehigh Valley Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Brian Elliott (lower body) was injured in Saturday's victory over Arizona. While the Flyers haven't given an update on the extent of Elliott's injury, Lyon's call-up is a bad sign. The 25-year-old netminder will likely serve in a backup role behind Michael Neuvirth and shouldn't see too much NHL action.

Lyon was reassigned to AHL Lehigh Valley on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
The rookie netminder heads back down to the minors with starter Brian Elliott (lower body) being activated from injured reserve in a coinciding transaction. In three games with the Flyers, Lyons struggled mightily, posting a 3.93 GAA and .860 save percentage.

Lyon allowed three goals on 23 shots over two periods in a 4-3 shootout loss to the Senators on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The Flyers stole a point with two third-period goals, including one with just seconds remaining on the clock, but Philadelphia is still searching for a goaltender to replace the injured Brian Elliott (lower-body). Fortunately, the Flyers are hopeful Elliott will return as early as Tuesday. It cannot happen soon enough as Flyers starting goaltenders have yielded 17 goals in the last four games, all losses, since Elliott went down with his injury.

Lyon will defend the home crease Saturday against the Senators, John Boruk of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lyon wasn't particularly impressive in his first career NHL start Thursday, but Michal Neuvirth has been equally unimpressive in his two most recent showings. Lyon faces a Senators club down a key piece in Bobby Ryan (hand). The Senators had tallied two or fewer goals in each of their last five games, even with Ryan in the lineup, putting the 25-year-old netminder in position for a decent outing Saturday.

Lyon allowed four goals on just 22 shots during Thursday's 4-3 loss to New Jersey.
EDGE Analysis
Considering Lyon posted an underwhelming .910 save percentage and 2.90 GAA through 24 AHL games this season, it's not out of the question to suggest he's punching above his weight class in the NHL. Michal Neuvirth projects to see the majority of starts while Brian Elliott (lower body) is on injured reserve, so Lyon's fantasy value remains extremely limited until proven otherwise.

Lyon will take to the ice for his first career NHL start on Thursday, facing the Devils on the road, Mike Morreale of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lyon came on in relief of Michal Neuvirth on Wednesday, and he proceeded to stop all five shots that came his way in an eventual 5-3 road loss to the Capitals. The rookie owns a 2.90 GAA and .910 save percentage through 24 games with AHL Lehigh Valley this season. He'll see pucks from a New Jersey team that ranks 14th in goals per game (2.94) and 19th in shots (31.4).

Lyon stopped all five shots he faced in relief of Michal Neuwirth during Wednesday's 5-3 loss to the Capitals.
EDGE Analysis
The 25-year-old made his NHL debut with about eight minutes left in the third period and didn't look out of place. With the Flyers back in action Thursday in New Jersey and Neuwirth struggling, Lyon could well make his first NHL start against the Devils.
