Hill stopped 31 of 32 shots in Wednesday's 1-0 overtime loss to the Oilers in Game 5.
EDGE Analysis
Hill did everything he could to keep the Golden Knights' season alive, but his best performance of the playoffs still wasn't enough. The 29-year-old allowed 16 goals over five games against the Oilers in the second-round loss. Hill's status as the Golden Knights' top goalie isn't in question moving forward -- he signed a six-year extension with the team in March, so he'll continue to see substantial playing time for a contender heading into 2025-26.

Hill is set to start at home against Edmonton for Game 5 on Wednesday, per Jesse Granger of The Athletic.
EDGE Analysis
Hill will look for a better result after allowing at least three goals in each of his first four games against Edmonton in the second-round series. Vegas is down 3-1, so the Golden Knights need a win to force Game 6 in Edmonton on Friday. The Oilers' offense has been dominant in the 2025 playoffs -- they're averaging a league-leading 4.20 goals per game.

Hill stopped 29 of 32 shots in the 3-0 loss in Game 4 against the Oilers on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Hill was beaten twice in the first period and once more in the second frame, and he also didn't receive any kind of offensive support from his teammates. He's now given up three or more goals in four starts in the series, a span in which he's gone 1-3-0 with a 3.61 GAA and an .872 save percentage.

Hill was the first goaltender off the ice at Monday's morning skate, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports, indicating he will defend the road net against Edmonton in Game 4.
EDGE Analysis
Hill made 17 saves in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Oilers, ending his two-game losing skid. He has a 5-4 record with a 3.14 GAA and an .872 save percentage through nine appearances this postseason. Edmonton leads the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs with 4.33 goals per game.

Hill stopped 17 of 20 shots in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Oilers in Game 3.
EDGE Analysis
Hill allowed two goals to Corey Perry in the first period and one more to Connor McDavid late in the third, but a last-second goal gave the Golden Knights their first win of the series. Hill is now 5-4 this postseason while adding a 3.14 GAA and an .872 save percentage over nine games. He's allowed 12 goals over three contests to begin the second round, but it'll be tough to tighten things up against such a strong offense. Look for Hill to start again Monday in Game 4.

Hill was the first goaltender off the ice at the morning skate, according to Jesse Granger of The Athletic, indicating he will defend the road net against Edmonton on Saturday in Game 3.
EDGE Analysis
Hill has surrendered nine goals on 65 shots in two straight losses to the Oilers in Round 2 of the playoffs. He has a 4-4 record with a 3.16 GAA and an .874 save percentage in eight appearances this postseason. Hill has won his last two road outings, stopping 58 of 63 shots.

Hill stopped 32 of 37 shots in Thursday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Oilers in Game 2.
EDGE Analysis
Hill was done in by a bad second period, in which he allowed three goals in a span of 5:46. The Golden Knights bounced back from that, and Hill had some redemption during overtime when he helped kill off Nicolas Roy's major penalty for cross-checking. Leon Draisaitl still gave the Oilers the win at 15:20 of the extra session. Hill has surrendered nine goals on 65 shots over two games in the second round. Still, it doesn't seem likely that the Golden Knights would turn the crease over to Akira Schmid or Ilya Samsonov, especially given the power of the Oilers' offense. Game 3 is in Edmonton on Saturday.

Hill is expected to start at home against Edmonton for Game 2 on Thursday, per Jesse Granger of The Athletic.
EDGE Analysis
Hill stopped 24 of 28 shots en route to a 4-2 loss to the Oilers on Tuesday. He hasn't stood out in the postseason, posting a 4-3 record, 3.01 GAA and .876 save percentage across seven outings. Edmonton leads the league in playoff goals per game with 4.43.

Hill stopped 24 of 28 shots in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Oilers in Game 1.
EDGE Analysis
The Golden Knights stormed ahead 2-0 early in the first period, but the offense stalled out after that. It wasn't enough of a lead for Hill, who gave up three goals in the third period, including two in the final 3:02. Hill has largely struggled in the postseason despite his 4-3 record, allowing three or more goals in four of those seven games, but the Oilers' offense is deeper and more dangerous than what the Wild had to offer in the first round. Expect Hill to get the nod again in Game 2 on Thursday.

Hill will guard the home goal versus the Oilers in Game 1 on Tuesday, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's no surprise Hill continues to start in goal for the Golden Knights. He wasn't at his best in the first round versus the Wild, as he had a 2.83 GAA and an .880 save percentage over six games. The 28-year-old's numbers aren't all that likely to improve against a high-powered Edmonton offense, but Vegas' depth should help keep things close.
