What a game. Lowry was living the dream, but he's just not fantasy fodder. The points snapped a nine-game drought. He now has 21 points (11 goals, 10 assists) in 73 games.

The winger has hit the 100-shot mark twice in his career and could do so again this season, but he will need to start picking up the pace soon. If the Missouri native continues to struggle, he could see himself facing a challenge for minutes from Nicolas Petan.

Lowry's return -- along with that of Andrew Copp (undisclosed) -- will relegated Brendan Lemieux and Nicolas Petan to the press box. With 10 points in 34 outings this season, the 25-year-old Lowry could still challenge for the 30-point threshold this year, a mark he missed by just one point in 2017-18.

Lowry (upper body) will miss his second consecutive game when the Jets clash with the Canucks in Vancouver on Saturday, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports reports.
