John Franklin-Myers
EDR/DE TEN (10)
Franklin-Myers recorded 25 tackles (12 solo), including 7.5 sacks, in 16 regular-season games with Denver in 2025.
EDGE Analysis
Franklin-Myers' 7.5-sack total was a career high while also ranking third among all Broncos defenders in 2025. The veteran pass rusher's 25 total tackles accounted for his lowest total since his sophomore season as a member of the Jets, but his ability to disrupt opposing quarterbacks this season made him a key player in the Broncos' strong defensive unit. Franklin-Myers will become an unrestricted free agent this offseason, and the 29-year-old's impressive sack totals in recent years should garner interest from teams looking to bolster their pass rush for the 2026 season.
P.J. Locke S DAL (10) Sun 2/8/26 8:23 AM
P.J. Locke
S DAL (10)
Locke recorded 16 tackles (nine solo) and three passes defensed in 16 regular-season games with Denver in 2025.
EDGE Analysis
Locke had an underwhelming 2025 campaign, recording his lowest tackle total since his sophomore campaign in 2021. The 28-year-old safety took a backseat to fellow safety Brandon Jones (pectoral) this season, leading to what was a down year for the veteran Locke. He did play a prominent role on special teams for much of the season, playing more special teams snaps (197) than defensive snaps (173) for the first time since 2022. The Texas product is set to become an unrestricted free agent in the offseason, giving him the chance to test the market ahead of the 2026 campaign.
Que Robinson EDR/LB DEN (12) Sun 2/8/26 7:52 AM
Que Robinson
EDR/LB DEN (12)
Robinson recorded 12 tackles (six solo), including 0.5 sacks and one pass defensed, in six regular-season games with Denver in 2025.
EDGE Analysis
Robinson operated as a depth option at outside linebacker for the Broncos' formidable defense in his first season, as the rookie played just 150 defensive snaps in 2025. The Alabama product joined one of the strongest defenses, featuring arguably the best pair of edge rushers in the league in Jonathon Cooper and Nik Bonitto, so it stands to reason that the 24-year-old Robinson would struggle to see the field consistently. Denver's elite talent at the position should allow the Broncos to take their time in developing Robinson, so he'll look to take a step forward and use his explosiveness in a backup role once again in 2026.
Dante Fowler EDR/DE FA Sat 2/7/26 10:28 PM
Dante Fowler
EDR/DE FA
Fowler registered 15 tackles, including 3.0 sacks, along with three defensed passes over 17 games during the 2025 season.
EDGE Analysis
After notching 10.5 sacks with Washington in 2024, Dallas signed Fowler in the hope that he could bolster the team's pass rush. However, the Florida product managed just 3.0 sacks despite playing in all 17 games for the fourth straight campaign. Fowler is slated to be a free agent, as he was playing last season on a one-year contract.

Solomon Thomas
IL/DT TEN (10)
Thomas played in 16 games during the regular season, tallying 27 tackles and one defensed pass.
EDGE Analysis
Thomas notched 8.5 sacks over his final two seasons with the Jets, but he was unable to post any sacks in his first season with Dallas despite logging 414 defensive snaps. He signed a two-year contract last March, so Thomas is tentatively slated to return to the Cowboys next season.
Jack Sanborn LB CHI (5) Sat 2/7/26 10:05 PM
Jack Sanborn
LB CHI (5)
Sanborn (groin) played in six games in 2025 before ending the season on injured reserve. He totaled 34 tackles and one defensed pass when healthy.
EDGE Analysis
Sanborn joined the Cowboys on a one-year deal last March and began the campaign as a starter, logging 32 tackles over his first four games. However, he suffered a concussion in Week 5 against the Jets, missed Week 6 against Carolina, and then was limited to special teams in Week 7 against Washington before hurting his groin and landing on IR. Sanborn was never able to make it back on the field, nor was he designated to return. He's slated to be a free agent.
James Houston EDR/LB DAL (10) Sat 2/7/26 9:56 PM
James Houston
EDR/LB DAL (10)
Houston finished the 2025 regular season with 35 tackles, including 5.5 sacks, a forced fumble and a recovered fumble over 17 games.
EDGE Analysis
Houston impressed as a rookie with 8.0 sacks over seven regular-season games with Detroit, but over the following two campaigns he had just 1.0 sacks across 13 contests. The Jackson State product put his name back on the map last season, as his 5.5 sacks were second-most on the Cowboys. He signed a two-year contract last July and should continue to have a role in Dallas' pass-rushing corps next season.
James Pearce EDR/LB ATL (5) Sat 2/7/26 9:30 PM 1 Comment
James Pearce
EDR/LB ATL (5)
Pearce was arrested in Florida on Saturday on domestic violence charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and aggravated stalking, Marc Raimondi of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Pearce just completed his rookie season with the Falcons. He could face discipline by the NFL, though the league will likely wait to make any such determination until more information emerges and the legal process plays out. In an initial team statement, the Falcons stated, "We are aware of an incident involving James Pearce Jr., in Miami. We are in the process of gathering more information and will not have any further comment on an open legal matter at this time," per Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.
Kenny Clark DE/IL DAL (10) Sat 2/7/26 9:17 PM
Kenny Clark
DE/IL DAL (10)
Clark played in all 17 of Dallas' contests in 2025, finishing with 36 tackles (including 3.0 sacks).
EDGE Analysis
Following nine seasons in Green Bay, Clark joined the Cowboys as part of the Micah Parsons (knee) trade. Clark proved to be durable, as he played in every regular-season game for the fourth straight year, and he was a steady (though unspectacular) performer for Dallas' defensive line. Clark has two years remaining on his contract, but there has been some speculation that he'll be cut this offseason given his age and salary.
Sam Williams EDR/LB DAL (10) Sat 2/7/26 9:07 PM
Sam Williams
EDR/LB DAL (10)
Williams played in 17 games during the 2025-26 regular season, totaling 37 tackles (including 1.0 sacks), two defensed passes, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
EDGE Analysis
Williams took on a larger role after missing all of 2024 while recovering from a torn ACL. He logged the first five starts of his career and totaled a career-high 469 defensive snaps, but while he also recorded a career-best 37 stops, he registered only 1.0 sacks after totaling 9.5 sacks across his first two seasons. Williams is slated to be an unrestricted free agent, and there's no guarantee the Cowboys will attempt to bring him back.
