A foot sprain caused Murray to miss the final 12 games of 2025, but there have been no indications that the issue will have any impact on his offseason activities. Tonges (foot) is signing a two-year, $8 million contract to stay with the 49ers, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Tonges was scheduled for restricted free agency and presumably would've gotten some kind of tender if the two sides hadn't worked out this deal. He suffered a plantar fascia injury during the playoff loss at Seattle in January, but it's thought to be less serious than the Achilles tear that George Kittle suffered a week earlier. Tonges thus stands a chance to start Week 1.

Hargrave is slated to be released by Minnesota on Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The 25-year-old played in just three regular-season games for the Eagles last year, totaling 67 defensive snaps. The number of defensive snaps Ojulari gets to see in 2026 likely is tied to the result of James Pearce's standing battery charges and what other moves the Falcons make around the outside linebacker unit.

The Ravens and Smythe have agreed to terms on a contract, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

Smythe had a substantial role for the 2025 Bears as a blocking tight end for both the offense and special-teams unit. Cross is an extremely durable safety, playing in all 17 regular-season games for the Colts over the 2025 season and logging 94 percent or more of the defensive snaps in 14 of those contests. The 24-year-old will be a youthful addition to a defense that has prioritized acquiring mainly older veteran players over the past few seasons.

The Jets have agreed to a one-year deal with Mitchell, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

Mitchell is re-signing with the Jets as a depth piece on the offensive line. The 26-year-old has spent all four of his previous NFL seasons with New York, starting in 17 total games in his career.
