Moss agreed to terms on a two-year, $8 million contract with the Bengals on Monday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Moss vaults to the No. 1 spot on the running back depth chart for Cincinnati, as the team also released Joe Mixon on Monday. The 26-year-old is cashing in after an impressive showing during Jonathan Taylor's absence from the Colts last season. He finished the 2023 campaign with a career-high 794 yards and five touchdowns through the ground to go along with 192 yards and two touchdowns across 27 receptions through the air.

Moss said Tuesday that he would be interested in re-signing with the Colts this offseason, Nate Atkins of The Indianapolis Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 2020 third-round draft pick enjoyed a mini-breakout in the final year of his rookie contract, making eight starts for an Indianapolis offense that didn't have Jonathan Taylor in Weeks 1 through 4 and 13 through 15. Taylor's absences allowed Moss to set career highs for snaps, carries, targets, rushing yards and touchdowns, though the 26-year-old finished out his season with only six touches on 11 snaps in a 23-19 loss to the Texans in Week 18 while Taylor took on 32 touches for 196 yards across 51 snaps. It's hard to say if free agency will offer Moss a chance to compete for a starting job elsewhere, but he would have to settle for a clear reserve role if he returns to Indianapolis and if Taylor is healthy to begin the 2024 season.

Moss (forearm) carried the ball six times for 30 yards and was not targeted as a receiver in Saturday's 23-19 loss to the Texans.
EDGE Analysis
Jonathan Taylor (ankle) literally carried the offense with a 30/188/1 rushing line Saturday, but his brief exit near the end of the third quarter allowed Moss to earn a few extra carries as the Colts' primary backup. The latter was returning from a two-game layoff from an injury of his own, so it was a positive sign to see him produce in a limited role to end the season. Moss was an early-season stud in fantasy while filling in for Taylor -- who was holding out over a contract dispute -- producing 445 out of the backup's 764 rushing yards this year over his first four games. Moss should be a desirable free agent this upcoming offseason after averaging 4.3 yards per carry and producing 986 combined yards and seven touchdowns in a hybrid backup/starting role with the Colts.

Moss (forearm) is active for Saturday's game against the Texans.
EDGE Analysis
Moss missed the last two contests due to a right forearm injury, and after practicing fully Wednesday and Thursday, the Colts gave him a questionable tag for Week 18 action. With his status now clarified for Saturday's outing, he'll slot in as the primary backup to top running back Jonathan Taylor. In the seven games (Weeks 5-10 and 12) in which both players have been active this season, Moss has averaged 12.4 touches for 69.7 yards from scrimmage per game while scoring four times on the ground.

Moss (forearm) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Texans after practicing fully Wednesday and Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Moss has missed two straight games, but after closing Week 18 prep with a pair of full practices, the running back appears to be trending toward being available Saturday. If he's confirmed as active ahead of Saturday's 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff, Moss should reclaim his role as Jonathan Taylor's top backup.

EDGE Analysis
It's an upgrade for Moss after he was estimated as limited Tuesday. It appears as if Moss will be ready to go for Saturday's do-or-die game against the Texans where the winner will clinch a Wild Card berth and the loser will go home. Moss should spell Jonathan Taylor for a handful of carries.

Moss (forearm) was limited at Tuesday's walkthrough.
EDGE Analysis
Moss hasn't logged much on-field work and also missed the Colts' last two games due to a right forearm injury. For a second week in a row, though, he's being listed as limited on the first practice report of the week. During Week 17 prep, he ended it with a DNP before the team ruled him out for this past Sunday's game against the Raiders. As a result, Moss may need to maintain limited listings all of this week or even log a full session in order to put himself in a position to play in Saturday's season finale versus the Texans.

Moss (forearm) won't play Sunday against the Raiders, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Moss unavailable for the second straight game, Jonathan Taylor is slated to lead the Colts' backfield in Week 17, while Trey Sermon and Tyler Goodson are in line to mix in as well. Moss will now target a potential return to action against the Texans in Indy's regular-season finale.

Moss (forearm) isn't practicing Friday, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is a step back for Moss, who was listed as a limited participant Wednesday and Thursday after sitting out the Week 16 loss in Atlanta. Moss will likely carry a questionable designation into Sunday's game against the Raiders, though official confirmation on that front will come later Friday when the Colts post their injury report. Regardless of Moss's availability, Jonathan Taylor is expected to handle the majority of touches out of the backfield for Indianapolis.

Moss (forearm) was a limited participant at practice Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Moss didn't practice at all last week before being ruled out ahead of the Colts' 29-10 loss to the Falcons, but he's now been listed as limited on both of the team's first two Week 17 injury report. Though the running back appears to be trending in the right direction ahead of Sunday's game against the Raiders, Moss will presumably need to practice fully Friday in order to avoid taking a designation into the weekend.
